Goes into more detail about it in the interview on Saints Player. I'm not going to transcribe it all, but is all very positive stuff! Yet again more hints of loan signings before the loan deadline next Thursday, plus talk of spending in January (like he has been hinting heavily at over the last few weeks). Despite these interviews and the fresh training ground story this week, people on this forum still think the money has stopped for some reason!

Wasn't surewhat to expect when he came but he's backed him all the way. Wants to ensure money is spent wisely on players who'll add to what we have already when we're in the Championship (next season I think he said). As in OP strong hints of a loan signing or signings this week.

Red Posted 21 November, 2010 Posted 21 November, 2010 lets just hope its in sterling, and not in an Irish bank Steady now - been and still am a life long Saints fan (lot's of great memories, but that's another story), however now living in Ireland :-( Mate - it's not even remotely funny about the absolute dire situation Ireland faces (bit like Saints), poor / 3rd world (opps just ****ed offed all the Irish), then done good (Celtic Tiger etc), only to get too greedy (corrupt) and end up worse thans base 1 !!!!!!!!!! Wants to ensure that whoever comes in they are good enough for the Championship. Also mentioned the fans - superb. If you can - have a listen

It's nothing to spend for the sake of it - just because the money's there. It burns a hole in some pockets !
