Collecting Teeth..

I didn't actually realise until now, but I have just opened my desk at work and I have a collection of teeth.

There are 6 of my own, 2 wisdow and the rest are general pullers.

 

I have 3 from my grandma which I extracted myself the night she died, I also took a clump of her lovely white hair, which I kept.

 

I have 2 teeth from my deceased dog, I have a mixed bag of 14 teeth that I have collected along the way, a few are from mates & family, the rest just I just found.

 

I have a set of false top knashers from my late father.

 

Does anyone else collect teeth, and is there a name for teeth collectors?

Teeth are classified as 'medical waste' and a dentist should really dispose of them in a responsible manner. That said, I had a one with a gold crown extracted recently and he let me keep it. Might be worth something?

This seems totally normal for Dog, though it is more like Dune's work.

It was something I could keep to remind me of her. She was a lovely woman and had great teeth for her age. Can I add, the hair I took whilst she was alive, and the teeth came out after she passed away, so no one was hurt.
