My prediction for the side

 

KD, Richardson,Fonte,Jaidi,Dickson,Hammond,Chaplow,Lallana,AOC,Guly,Lambert.

 

 

based on basic bib technology.

 

442 tomorrow. 1 different from the line up above

Would be my guess if LB is correct.

Adkins hinted at the involvement of Butterfield and Gobern in his pre match interview.

 

Seemed pretty taken on Gobern.....

Really up for this tomorrow.

 

My last online game for about 3 weeks with all the golf & rugby coming up. The great news is that I inherited a free case of Magners yesterday (along with 2 cases of Corona) so should be in fine form for kick-off.

 

Hopefully the naughty Nun link saved in my innernet favourites will come up with some gems and Rickie can come good.

 

Not convinced from reports that Richardson is up to full speed yet, think Morgan's mismarking last week will get him canned so can see us going with

I have been having a chat with a mate who is a Peterboro supporter he goes to all there games he said they cannot defend at all and he is predicting that we smash them. He says they are very good going forward but woefull at the back lots of discontent after recent results they had there lowest attendance since Adam was a lad mid week lots of ther fans very unhappy calling for wholesale changes starting with the manager.

 

Now I know after he has said all that we will go & f*ck it up but his words were every time a team attacks they conceed a goal and if we have anything about us going forward we will win comfortably.

 

so it will probably be 0 0 but I am hoping 4 2 to the Mighty Saints Lambo Lallana & chappers to score come on you Saints massive couple of games win them both & we are well in the hunt for promotion.

Trouble is WE on last week's performance we can't defend either. Fully expect us to concede one from a corner.....why you ask? because we often do.

Jaidi still in for Martin? Rubbish.

 

Jaidi probably our most solid defender Saturday by the way. So much better than Fonte, who if you look was probably at fault for the first two goals, attempting to win the ball stupidly high up the pitch and getting beat to it both on the floor and in the air.

 

If we are dropping anyone for Martin it should be him. Personally I wouldn't but i'm just saying.

If Adkins selects Jahidi against the pace of the Petebo'ro forward line, when we have both Martin and Seabourne available, he will lose my support.

lb told us that Seaborne was injured, whether that's true or not who knows, but I wouldn't doubt it .

Martin seems not to have impressed NA or Crosby or whoever judges the CBs.

I'm glad to see everyone is writing the game off already.

 

Jaidi is a very good defender and when fully fit (which i think he is now) one of the best at this level. What he has lost in pace, he makes up for with his positioning, reading of the game and winning of headers.

 

We'll be fine with him.

I don't doubt Jaidis positioning etc. what worries me about him is that he always seems too casual on the ball and he regularly gets caught out. With Fonte and Jaidi in the centre of our defence we should be able to cope with anything League One can throw at us however I still have my doubts due to the big Tunisians slightly lackadaisical approach.

LB - you would seem to know plenty about what's going on at the mo. Any news on replacements for JP or other incomings? NA seems to hint at new loan & permanent signings (in Jan) - any likely before Brighton?

If Clayton is half-fit that's a big blow to us as Carlisle fans gave him rave reviews when on loan from Man City last season. We just need to focus on winning and getting stuck into Peterborough and that goes for the players and fans. Drop Morgan who isn't cutting it and we need to move him on in January, Chaplow and a recently-improved Hammond in the middle (ok, he's still not great but at least he tracks runners and can be bothered), Ox-C and Lallana wide. If Seaborne is fit, he must play and if he isn't Martin must start, no Jaidi please Nigel. Rickie might be out of form but let's at least give the bloke some decent crosses to knock down and either Chaplow or Hammond have to get their backside in the box to give Barnard a hand on attacking the second balls and making Joe Lewis work hard. No more tactical errors like Carlisle please Nigel, keep it simple and we'll win plenty of games. If Lambert is out of form, let's at least use him as a Steve Howard-type battering ram and get him to bully their nervous back four a bit and let the creative players like Lallana and Ox-C make hay out of the space he creates in dangerous areas.

This is a really weird morning. Im going to the footy this PM with my dad, his first trip to SMS.

 

He's a Posh fan, and I'm sitting in the posh end.

 

Obviously no colours on today, just my lucky England shirt which has done me proud every time I've worn it this season.

 

Will be interesting to see SMS from the away fans perspective.

I think it's a game which will be incredibly tight, with whichever side willing to do the most WGS style physical pressing coming out as victor. And even though I've been critical of him recently, I think it's a game where Hammond can really step up and show his Mettle.

 

Or I could be massively wrong, and we might smash them 7-0 in display of Dutch/Brazilian total pass-move and score football, with Hammond having a stinker. I don't care either way, as long as we win.

Correct.

Harding has lost so much form compared to the way he was last season,bloody fine contribution last season,imo.

Another that has lost his way recently.

Seems to be a running theme just now.
