Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 1-0 Carlisle...where did that come from? Balls.
Liquidshokk Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 Why did I predict 3-2 saints win for this.. we'll be lucky to hear of a goal at this rate.... Sorry...
Window Cleaner Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 Huddersfield and Brighton losing. so are we
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 At least Huddersfield are losing too.
Saint_clark Posted 13 November, 2010 Author Posted 13 November, 2010 rubbish defending carlisle lead How on earth could you know that?
Toomer Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 I'll say it for Dave. We need to score a goal, and we don't want to let one in. I always thought that was the general idea of the game.
Window Cleaner Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 ********. Sounds like a good goal. sounds like Fonte and Jaidi got caught for pace.
Liquidshokk Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 I always worry when Jaidi is at the back...
S-Clarke Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 How on earth could you know that? the commentators claimed that Madine got in between fonte and Jaidi and that they were both caught out.
Window Cleaner Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 ffs get Lambert off and Barnard on.Puncheon for Chamberlain as well, he'll get nothing today.
Liquidshokk Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 ffs get Lambert off and Barnard on. This is he hasnt scored by half time.
Colinjb Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 Six words I hate: 'Completely against the run of play.' F**k
Saint_clark Posted 13 November, 2010 Author Posted 13 November, 2010 Merrington reckons one up front doesn't suit us...after we've gone 1-0 down.
ericofarabia Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 At least the 3-1 is on. Ditto Ditto !!
saint1977 Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 I agree with Window Cleaner, we need to get some decent crosses in for Lambert to nod down and then attack the second ball like mad. No-one better in the squad than Barnard for that.
Window Cleaner Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 Right one down it is/ Very nice autumn day here, blue sky, about 17°C,surprising mild for the season as we're at about 2600 ft in altitude. Ooops should have been specific.
saint lard Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 Still not suited to 4-5-1 it seems, especially with lambert in poor form. Harding scores own goal. We have got this wrong tactically by a mile, imo.
saint1977 Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 Merrington reckons one up front doesn't suit us...after we've gone 1-0 down. The coaching team only had to watch last year's game at Carlisle to work that out - I was there and Pidgeley's howler got us out of jail as we'd created naff all bar a chance for Mellis who hit the side netting when he should have scored. Mind you, Carlisle's goal was helped by a huge deflection.
Liquidshokk Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 At least the 3-2 is on. Maybe it wasnt such a rubbish prediciton.. now for our 3 please...
GenevaSaint Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 on a brighter note, Skates two nil down at home to Donny
Window Cleaner Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 wish I'd gone to the shops with the womenfolk really.
trousers Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 Change the formation now Adkins.....show us you're more proactive than Pardew
Saint_clark Posted 13 November, 2010 Author Posted 13 November, 2010 Have to admit when I saw the three CM I did think that Adkins was selecting 4-5-1 because it always seems like it's the "right thing" to do when away from home. Carlisle focus on wing play, so having more bodies in the centre of the pitch doesn't really help.
Asaint4ever Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 typical saints.....! get a sniff and **** it up!
S-Clarke Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 everyone else loosing too, what a chance missed
DG Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 Oh well. Like the saintsfclive twitter "no need to panic yet" a minute before 2-0
benjii Posted 13 November, 2010 Posted 13 November, 2010 Merrington reckons one up front doesn't suit us...after we've gone 1-0 down. Sounds like if there is a problem today it's with the back 4 yet the commentators decide it must be down to changing the midfield and forward system. Harding for Dickson anyone?
