January sales

I have the money to get myself a new computer/laptop and a new TV...

 

would it be worth waiting for the jan sales or not for these..?

 

Have seen a decent 50 inch full HD Plasma for £650 with currys.....

don't forget the vat rise on the 4th of jan up to 20% so the deals might not be as good

i won't be looking at 3D TV's for quite some time.

 

the technology will have to improve a lot before i take the plunge (no glasses, not have to be sat Smack bang in front of the thing etc)

I am waiting for the jan sales (before the VAT goes up) to get me a new laptop...

 

edit..that telly from richer sounds is now my no.1 choice..

 

would that LED TV be THAT much better than this..

My mate has a 50" LED and it looks quality, literally paper thin and clarity is excellent

I've had a 50" LG Plasma for 4 years now. I still think it's excellent, and much better than my smaller LCD TVs. No viewing angle issues, and much brighter. Good quality sound too, without the SS kit on. My son loves it in 1080i HD for his X-box.
