CWD Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Dover Athletic would be quality - only a short train ride for me! Other than that it has to be FCUM as all my housemates are united fans (only one is actually from manchester of course, the other two are from hertford ffs)

Granadino Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Got to be Swindon Supermarine. I'm approaching 30 and in my time supporting Saints I can't remember us ever drawing a proper non-league team. I know we had Luton last year, but I don't really count them as they are all full-time pros. Game against a bunch of postmen and plumbers would be interesting, a new experience as a Saints fan.

sfc1976 Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Hardly exciting is it? Kate Garraway has got big jugs to be fair.

Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Let's hope AFC Wimbledon get to play MK Dons...
doubleonothing Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Saints will play CHELTENHAM TOWN AT HOME
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Home against Cheltenham ... Another bumper crowd then!
benjii Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Another referral to the FA on the cards methinks!
Saint_clark Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Decent enough draw. Should be through to the third round.
benjii Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Why can't we get some little pub-team outfit? Somewhere with a string around the pitch FFS.
Matthew Le God Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Boring But extremely winnable and a good chance of the 3rd round.
benjii Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Shame it won't be on telly as I doubt I'll be arsed to go to this one either.
La BoIS Saint Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Dull draw, trip to Nelson Brewery instead.
RonManager Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Cheltenham away. By away I meant home, obviously.
Appy Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Boring Draw, but at least gives us a chance to play one of the big boys (or Pompey) in the 3rd round.
Saint_Jonny Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Good draw should get us through to the next round, where the fun can hopefully begin They are as excited as the Shrews' fans were... http://www.robinsnestforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3500 We really arent as exciting as we thing we are, are we!

Mainly because they don't see it as winnable.
sandwichsaint Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Dover/Saints, Saints/Dover will have to wait for the third round then (Dover are home to Aldershot or Brentford in round 2, tricky but definitely 'winnable' if they play like they did yesterday).
sperm_john Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Apparantly we are 'nothing special' this season ....riiiiiight
patred44 Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 THE REAL DONS v MK FRANCHISE (the one who stole their league status) Got to be the live TV game... wonder who the neutrals will wooting for
Saint_clark Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 THE REAL DONS v MK FRANCHISE (the one who stole their league status) Got to be the live TV game... wonder who the neutrals will wooting for If they both win their replays. Definite tie of the round if they do.
doughnutman Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Glad its a home tie as im back in southampton for that weekend and will try to get along to it. Hoping for a third round draw against Cardiff!
Appy Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 THE REAL DONS v MK FRANCHISE (the one who stole their league status) Got to be the live TV game... wonder who the neutrals will wooting for I'd like to think the whole country would be behind The Real Dons.
Chin Strain Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 I'd like to think the whole country would be behind The Real Dons. Oh yes
SNSUN Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 THE REAL DONS v MK FRANCHISE (the one who stole their league status) Got to be the live TV game... wonder who the neutrals will wooting for Toughie, there are some good TV games in there, Brighton vs FCUM could easily be one, Crawley vs Swindon too. I wonder if ITV will show more than one? Cheltenham is a good tie, whilst I'd love a non-League side, which is something we rarely ever get, I always worry about cocking it up against them. With one division's difference between us and Cheltenham, a cupset wouldn't be tooooooo bad. That said, the way we're winning games at the moment, I'm confident we can win this.

Living in Cheltenham, a cupset is tooooooo bad- infact, it will be a ****ing nightmare.
benjii Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Cheltenham are in the league are they? News to me.
BGF Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 I wonder if Mr Lowe will turn up, isnt Cheltenham his home town?
