Dr Who? Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 (edited) I am living at the in-laws at the moment while our house buy goes through (we have been here a month now). They do not have Sky Sports and and have automatically gone to 405 on many ocassions but Sky Sports News has not been on. I thought this was because it is not free and you have to have the Sky Sports package to get it. My suprise tonight I put 405 on and Sky Sports News is on. Is this one of there free days to try and get people to subscribe to the channel? Or am I just going mad? Good thought not see it for a month and I feel a little more at home now! Dr Who? Posted 6 November, 2010 Author Posted 6 November, 2010 It is strange because I was so happy. You do not know what it is like in a house with none football fans, when in my normal house I have football on 24/7!! It made me happy anyway.... perhaps I should get out more! Sky will only take it away from me again come the morning or after the weekend!!
Trader Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Perhaps you could fill that void in your life by doing some much needed boiler maintenance.

hamster Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Don't ever move to Scotland, Scottish football everywhere and a crap country, only good for the gas imho.
Dr Who? Posted 7 November, 2010 Author Posted 7 November, 2010 Oh bloddy hell you lot, you all have far to good memories!! One thing I can do without is a 2.5/3 hour drive to Southampton!! Unless the Saints are playing of course. The boiler is fine thanks for asking.

Pay the £1.00 a month that it costs to have it then you tight git for them and get Eurosport into the bargain
Dr Who? Posted 7 November, 2010 Author Posted 7 November, 2010 Pay the £1.00 a month that it costs to have it then you tight git for them and get Eurosport into the bargain They do not want it. I would be quite happy to get the whole package but they do not want sport in the house. They are away this weekend. When we move I have the full package, and spend like money is going out of fashion!!

Pat from Poole Posted 8 November, 2010 Posted 8 November, 2010 I think that Sky Sports News is also a "News" channel, so if your in-laws have got the News package as one of their packs on their Sky subscription, they will be able to get Sky Sports News even if they don't have a subscription to the Sports channels.

Aye, it's part of the "Sky News & Events Pack" - http://www.sky.com/shop/tv/entertainment-packs/news-events-pack/
