Toomer Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 انه أفضل مهاجم في النادي عندما مناسبا ، لا شك. ولكن قال انه سوف يكون على الأرجح مرة أخرى في غرفة العلاج قريبا Think that makes it clear I agree with you on that subject Phil:)
paulwantsapint Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 If he stays fit best role is supersub doing what he is told " DC go get winning goal "

suewhistle Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 We now have a physio as a manager, so .. perhaps he's scared of going in the treatment room!

Dalek2003 Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Connolly has a great pedigree, and without doubt is one of our best strikers when fit. Trouble is that he spends too much time in the treatment room.

scott_saints Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Lets not get carried away. Don't forget about his injury record.
scott_saints Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Lets not get carried away. Don't forget about his injury record.
Deppo Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 He's the best striker at the club when fit, no doubt. But he'll probably be back in the treatment room soon. Nutshell.
Kingsland Red Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 If he didn't have such an injury record he probably wouldn't be here in the first place, so if the best we get is an impact player then I'm OK with that.
saintfully Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 When fit, he's the best natural finisher at the club without a shadow of a doubt. The frustrating thing is, he'll probably be back in the treatment room before too long. This.
del boy Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 tbf he has spent some time injured, but when fit he's right up there
Danbert Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Han er uden tvivl klubbens bedste angriber men er altid skadet
Guided Missile Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Han er uden tvivl klubbens bedste angriber men er altid skadet Det vil sige Michael Jackson er den bedste levende akt i verden
Dr Who? Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 He's the best striker at the club when fit, no doubt. But he'll probably be back in the treatment room soon.
saint_stevo Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 I can't really question his goal scoring attributes, but i am concerned by his injury record
Badger Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 is it possible to get injured in the injury room? No coincidence really that Adkins thought it would be appropriate for Connolly to play injury time either. I was worried he might of course be injured during injury time,as I'm told he is prone to injury.
benjii Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Would this thread have been possible under the old regime?
Badger Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Would this thread have been possible under the old regime? Do you mean whilst His Rupertship was in charge ? If so,the answer is yes. It could have been written about Delgado.I remember reading after his wonder goal against Arsenal : He's the best striker at the club when fit, no doubt. But he'll probably be back in the treatment room soon.
Dark Munster Posted 8 November, 2010 Posted 8 November, 2010 His injury record is second to none. Apart from Marians, you mean.
Dark Munster Posted 8 November, 2010 Posted 8 November, 2010 He's a really great striker. Very true. I'm going to stick my neck out here, and probably get a lot of abuse for saying it, but I reckon he'll be back in the treatment room soon.
trousers Posted 8 November, 2010 Posted 8 November, 2010 I'll only believe he's heading back to the treatment room when it's exclusively announced on here by leftback
dubai_phil Posted 8 November, 2010 Posted 8 November, 2010 Apparently DC reads this forum. As a result he is back in the treatment room today - nothing to do with football, he is undergoing reconstructive surgery having split his sides lol'ing at this thread.
alpine_saint Posted 8 November, 2010 Posted 8 November, 2010 Its hard not to write him off though. He has been absent so often for so long. He is clearly our best striker when fit, and if (its a big IF) he could stay fit, he could be all the difference between mid-table and promotion this season.
thefunkygibbons Posted 8 November, 2010 Posted 8 November, 2010 I heard that he was back in the treatment room, having his head reattached Have laughed it off
thesaint sfc Posted 8 November, 2010 Posted 8 November, 2010 He's the best striker at the club when fit, no doubt. But he'll probably be back in the treatment room soon.
lettuce Posted 8 November, 2010 Posted 8 November, 2010 He's the best striker at the club when fit, no doubt. But he'll probably be back in the treatment room soon. +1.
Danish Saint Posted 8 November, 2010 Posted 8 November, 2010 Han er uden tvivl klubbens bedste angriber, når han er spilleklar Men han vil sandsynligvis være tilbage i rehabilitering inden længe.
thesaint sfc Posted 8 November, 2010 Posted 8 November, 2010 wabba dabba doooobaaa dabba, doooba dab. doob dab'll dab dab doob daaaba doob.
saint_stevo Posted 8 November, 2010 Posted 8 November, 2010 Apparently Connolly likes to browse this forum, but he does so on his iPhone, from the treatment room
Redbul Posted 8 November, 2010 Posted 8 November, 2010 To be serious for a minute, DC is arguably our very best striker with fantastic footballing nous. However, he is prone to injury and he may well be back in the the treatment room forthwith. You heard it here first....
Saint Luke Posted 8 November, 2010 Posted 8 November, 2010 He's the best striker at the club when fit, no doubt. But he'll probably be back in the treatment room soon.
Yorkshire Saint Posted 8 November, 2010 Posted 8 November, 2010 He's the best striker at the club when fit, no doubt. But he'll probably be back in the treatment room soon.
Guided Missile Posted 8 November, 2010 Posted 8 November, 2010 Volgens hij linksback is niet erg blij Ron, Deense, niet Nederlands. Alstublieft bijbenen.
RonManager Posted 8 November, 2010 Posted 8 November, 2010 wabba dabba doooobaaa dabba, doooba dab. doob dab'll dab dab doob daaaba doob. That's disgusting - how did you manage to get it past the swear filter!!
Deppo Posted 8 November, 2010 Posted 8 November, 2010 If you look at his goalscoring record, it is actually very good. Better than any other striker at the club, career-wise. My question is why he isn't playing more often, or at a higher level? Does anyone know?
SnailOB Posted 8 November, 2010 Posted 8 November, 2010 If you look at his goalscoring record, it is actually very good. Better than any other striker at the club, career-wise. My question is why he isn't playing more often, or at a higher level? Does anyone know? I would agree with your sentiment As for higher level - i'm not sure if anyone has any stats for this but i believe he is prone to injury
simo Posted 8 November, 2010 Author Posted 8 November, 2010 I can't believe everyone saying he's injury prone that's soooooo unfair !

amsterdam Posted 8 November, 2010 Posted 8 November, 2010 According to Wikipedia , despite being the best striker at the club when fit, he lives in the treatment room.
