doggface Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 He made a great impact when he 1st joined, certainly did today. Let's hope he can get that form back
Dalek2003 Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Yep i'm guilty of writing him off. I am and will continue to be happy to be proved wrong !
RedArmy Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 It's a shame he'll probably be back in the physios room in a few weeks.
Ewell Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 On his the day the best striker we have. He is a class act with great movement and a good football brain. It is such a shame he has had a poor injury record. If he can keep out of the treatment room then he can be a brilliant impact player from the bench and a great stand in for Bernard.
Bailey Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 When fit, he's the best natural finisher at the club without a shadow of a doubt. The frustrating thing is, he'll probably be back in the treatment room before too long.
Trader Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 He's the best striker at the club when fit, no doubt. But he'll probably be back in the treatment room soon. Has this been said before? Oh.
K,Billy's supersound Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 He's the best striker at the club when fit, no doubt. But he'll probably be back in the treatment room soon.
georgeismyname Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 He's the best striker at the club when fit, no doubt. But he'll probably be back in the treatment room soon.
The Kraken Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 I think he's a brilliant striker. Maybe the best at the club. But what I don't think anyone else has picked up on, is that it's likely he'll be back in the treatment room soon enough.
Crab Lungs Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Won't need to - he'll probably write himself off in 2-3 games time ;-p
croydonsaint Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 He's the best striker at the club when fit, no doubt. But he'll probably be back in the treatment room soon.
ottery st mary Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 (edited) He is on his way to the treatment room as we speak.....that is where he got changed ready for the game. Hope he stays fit as we could do with his guile and whatever old goalscorers have. Edited 6 November, 2010 by ottery st mary spellin
NickG Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 he has more ability than any other striker at our club, unfortunately his record makes you fear that he will be back in treatment room soon.
thorpie the sinner Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 is it possible to get injured in the injury room?
Ewell Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 What a shame a thread about a Saints striker who has had injury problems but came off the bench to make a postive impact has just turned into a humourless bore of a **** take!
ottery st mary Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 (edited) :DQuite funny after the game....David arrived in the treatment room and found Holmesy had beaten him to his favourite couch. PS For Ewell..........Well done David...Luv you. Edited 6 November, 2010 by ottery st mary
benjii Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 He's rubbish but at least he is seldom injured.
RobM Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 We now have a physio as a manager, so if he can't keep fit now he never will. Otherwise he'll be back in the treatment room soon, something nobody else seems to have picked up on...
mcjwills Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 He's the best striker at the club when fit, no doubt. But he'll probably be back in the treatment room soon.
ottery st mary Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 (edited) Passing St Marys a short while ago..... I noticed.. the treatment room light was still on..... Did someone forget to turn the light out... Come on David you know better than that. PS.....Will always be a top class striker..Good to have around for the rest of the season...hopefully. Tractor_Saint Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Was sat next to the subs bench today. As Connolly was about to go on Adkins said to him "It's your turn now to get the goal"... Star
Guan 2.0 Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Without doubt, when firt he's the clubs best striker. The likelihood for requiring almost immediate treatment is better than average though.
Saint_clark Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Without doubt, when firt he's the clubs best striker. The likelihood for requiring almost immediate treatment is better than average though. Hmm, can't agree with that assertion at all. Maybe 2 or 3 years ago.
Charlie Wayman Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Write him off at your peril! Jammy burgger! pure fluke - no more, no less.
Roger Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 No lambert is the best striker we have. Believe you me he will be the player that comes up trumps when we need him for the big games. I think too many of our fans are writing him off. I thought he looked a lot fitter against dagenham in the week
Dazza82 Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Ive heard Connolly is going to retire to become a physio
SuperMikey Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 He's the best striker at the club when fit, no doubt. But he'll probably be back in the treatment room soon.
paris Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Striker club fit doubt he'll probably back in treatment room n'est pas .
Secret Site Agent Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 According to Yoda: URMMM, Without a doubt, at the club, the best striker, when fit, he is. The force says,be back in the treatment room,he'll probably be,soon
saint_stevo Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Decent stirker, but i for one question his injury record
Whitey Grandad Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Great striker, always on the spot. If only he could stay fit.
hamster Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Yup, he is in there as we speak; http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/Suspensions/0,,10280,00.html Is there actually a treatment room where he actually lives?
Jonnyboy Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 lol. classic thread - off to the golden threads please :-)
georgeweahscousin Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Does he have more injuries than goals?

alehouseboys Posted 7 November, 2010 Posted 7 November, 2010 Was sat next to the subs bench today. As Connolly was about to go on Adkins said to him "It's your turn now to get the goal"... Star 3 things you should know about David Connolly: 1: He's a great striker (when fit) 2: He's injury prone 3: He's f'kin obedient
