Rosebowl Parking?

Attending the fieworks at the Rosebowl tonight.

Where is best to park nearby so as not to get stuck in too much traffic?

I usually park in either Chapel Rd or Lower New Rd (either side of Notto). There's usually plenty of space, it's outside the parking restriction zone & only about 15 minutes walk to the ground.

 

I'll going tonight also (weather permitting) so don't nick my parking space.

A couple of years ago my daughter and her husband went to a pop concert there and were afraid of parking troubles so I took them to the ground and picked them up. When I collected them there was plenty of space in the grass car park opposite Holiday Inn and no traffic problems, but perhaps tonight will be different?

i am walking from my house tonight, 20mins over the motorway.

 

If your parking in Netto, beware, we drink in the West End Brewery and few friends have left cars there and had them broken into.............

 

Best bet is to park in one of the industrial estates behind KFC etc, Flanders Park for example and wander over the bridge

about 60 of us from work stayed at the holiday Inn up the road last week...(weekend of the oldham game)

loads of us went in their...nice pub

I used to play footy for the WEB in early 80's as it was my local!!!

That's when it was a proper local with a public bar, lounge bar and separate 'off sales'! Frank Whitlock was the landlord. Happy days!

i would like to thank all the idiots who have parked down my road, ignoring the cones, ruined the grass and blocked my garage!! recently the rose bowl have got it spot on...... tonight it was a joke!!

Took loads of those submariners from the Holiday Inn to the town centre, got talking about footie and thet were talking about one of their number who supports Saints! probably you Delldays!

Lol at the people who parked by kfc, pizza hut, halfords etc. walked past to see at leat 30 people stood next to there cars clamped, waving the tickets in the air.

 

saw a team of about 4 guys going around unclamping with a card reader in hand!

Clampers are ******s but i parked by Sainsburys four hours free no problem
