pilsburydoughboy Posted 5 November, 2010 Share Posted 5 November, 2010 Attending the fieworks at the Rosebowl tonight. Where is best to park nearby so as not to get stuck in too much traffic? Thanks
Dimond Geezer Posted 5 November, 2010 Share Posted 5 November, 2010 I usually park in either Chapel Rd or Lower New Rd (either side of Notto). There's usually plenty of space, it's outside the parking restriction zone & only about 15 minutes walk to the ground. I'll going tonight also (weather permitting) so don't nick my parking space. Whitey Grandad Posted 5 November, 2010 Share Posted 5 November, 2010 A couple of years ago my daughter and her husband went to a pop concert there and were afraid of parking troubles so I took them to the ground and picked them up. When I collected them there was plenty of space in the grass car park opposite Holiday Inn and no traffic problems, but perhaps tonight will be different? saint_stevo Posted 5 November, 2010 Share Posted 5 November, 2010 i am walking from my house tonight, 20mins over the motorway. If your parking in Netto, beware, we drink in the West End Brewery and few friends have left cars there and had them broken into............. Best bet is to park in one of the industrial estates behind KFC etc, Flanders Park for example and wander over the bridge
