Chaplow loan extended OS

The thing I like about Chaplow is that he knows that the object of Football is to put the ball into the net more times than the opposition, so always seems to want to get into the box as quick as possible, when Spiderman came on the other night his first choice of play seemed to be sideways. That said I would like to see Chaplow and Schneiderlin given a run in midfield as I think they are dynamic players in their own style, that might prove to be a potent combination.

I'd like to see Chappers lay the ball off for Morgan a bit more cosistently then turn and run at the defence or pull the odd defender out wide leaving some room for Morgan to take the ball up and try a few more of his distance shots, it seems to have worked well for the france lads.

Chaplow did well against Oldham and Dagenham, and will be a good addition to the squad, but we HAVE to keep Schneiderlin. Selling him would be stupidity.

Hopefully the paperwork will be advanced so that he can play against Exeter. I'm looking forward to a 100% record this Christmas break. It's a long time since we had that.

no way his club would have given permission to play in fa cup if we hadnt already agreed to buy? why would they cup tie him and reduce his commerical value in january if we hadnt sorted a deal!

We are a different team with him (better). IMO spiderman is the lesser player all he offers for me is a diagonal ball to our Two 4 foot wingers.... No goals, no assists no attacking runs...'

There is a small item in the Daily Mail today saying that we are going to sign him permanently in January.

Apparently he is on big wages at Preston, so I wouldn't be surprised if we get him on a free just to get him off their wage bill.

Preston lost at home to Barnsley tonight and are now second from bottom in the Championship. Ferguson is under huge pressure-the fans want him out. If he's sacked will Chaplow be recalled by a new manager? Presumably he will be unless there's no recall in his loan deal and we have an option to buy on 1st Jan. FWIW I think he's got better every game.

not that you weren't the first ... but an interesting thing I picked up on was from the Preston home page where it states that

(PNE manager Darren Ferguson) had problems with Chaplow ? ...and that (he) has been " on the list" since the end of the summer... Sounds like they want to unload him and get him off the payroll?

 

If so ..looks like a good deal...come January.

 

GOOD TIP ...Richard..grow some hair back..that style may look tough but it made players like Jimmy Melia and Chris Marsden look like pensioners before they were 30. No point in giving those " disatisfied fans " grounds to complain if you don't give 100%.

IF true ...lets hope that Ferguson lasts it out until after the deadline and we've signed RC already.
