SNSUN Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 I'm pretty sure this has happened, no? Again, I mean. :-) He's a quality strike short of goalscoring confidence - his strike against Daggers that went over the bar would probably have gone in last season, had he sunk it, it's most likely have started a run of form for him. It'll come, fortunately we have another striker that can poach goals. Barnard and Lambert are a good combo up front, and with Lallana they make a potent attacking threat.
dronskisaint Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Difficult decisions today, sit upstairs with a broken A/C system listening to the Under Perform Group's SaintsPlayer dropping in and out. Or sit downstairs where the A/C is fine and watch the Egg chasers in HD hmmmmmmmmm You're a Saints supporter so well versed in the art of suffering. Suffer the dodgy feed & let the thigh gropers do their own thing downstairs.....
landford.saint Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Difficult decisions today, sit upstairs with a broken A/C system listening to the Under Perform Group's SaintsPlayer dropping in and out. Or sit downstairs where the A/C is fine and watch the Egg chasers in HD hmmmmmmmmm If you have to ask that question ........ I know life gets in the way sometimes, like last Saturday. I was stood in a Sky retainers with a complete assh@le of Skate sky salesman trying to get the scores. Just listen to Saints and record the eggchasers. Simples
Window Cleaner Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Hope we put a decent team out today because I get the feeling that Shrewsbury might give us a bit of a rough ride.Defence worries me at the best of times tbh, with no Fonte it may be both exceptionally slow and exceptionally fragile, the Shrews will come at us from the kick off and we may well have to weather an uncomfortable 20 minutes or so.
offix Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 is Saintsplayer tuned to the wrong feed again? getting music

Or sit downstairs where the A/C is fine and watch the Egg chasers in HD hmmmmmmmmm get a grip man .... it barely reached mid 30''s today .... you should be more concerned about finding a light jacket to keep warm rather than the A/C not working FFS Let me know if you need txt updates.
Window Cleaner Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 is Saintsplayer tuned to the wrong feed again? getting music it's still an hour before kick-off

Tractor_Saint Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Would have preferred Bart to play but apart from that and no Lambert its as expected. A strong team! Lots of Shrewsbury fans around ! COYR
SuperMikey Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 This is the first home game i've missed since mid-September. This is probably a bad omen considering our recent home form. 9-1 to Shrewsbury!
Thedelldays Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 davis richardson jaidi seaborne harding chamberlain chaplow hammond lallana guly barnard Fonte and Lambert rested then..... I will eat my own toilet drops if we dont beat this lot today
Window Cleaner Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 The taming of the shrew.......probably not a great analogy for a football match really. Is not that play based on the scenario that it is a means to trick a drunken tinker into thinking that he is Lord or something like that. Now the 4-0 drubbing of D+R would probably have been more fitting for that.....not that our fans are to be compared with drunken tinkers of course.
Hamilton Saint Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 is Saintsplayer tuned to the wrong feed again? getting music UK is only four hours ahead of us 'til tomorrow.
Window Cleaner Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 subs:Bart, Dickson, Martin, Wotton, Holmes, Connolly and Lambert
Saint Charlie Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 No Puncheon even in matchday squad then!
ericofarabia Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 davis richardson jaidi seaborne harding chamberlain chaplow hammond lallana guly barnard Fonte and Lambert rested then..... I will eat my own toilet drops if we dont beat this lot today Be careful what you wish for
Window Cleaner Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 No Puncheon even in matchday squad then! no Puncheon, no Morgan. Either they've been given time off same as Fonte because they've played a lot of games (Morgan might have gone home for his 21st on Monday I suppose) or there's trouble brewing.
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 No need to field such a strong team in my opinion. Why risk Lallana?
beatlesaint Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 No Puncheon even in matchday squad then! Being rested ;-) Good to see Connolly back on the bench.
Window Cleaner Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Be careful what you wish for Especially with that pedestrian partnership in central defence.
simo Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Bart Fraser,jaidi,Martin,dickson Punch,spiderman,chappers,Holmes Doble , Lambert(capt)
ericofarabia Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 LOL Kevin Davis scores twice against Spurts 3-1 to The Trotters
beatlesaint Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 No need to field such a strong team in my opinion. Why risk Lallana? Didnt Lallana say himself a couple of weeks ago he needed games to get match fit after his non pre season and spell out injured ?
Window Cleaner Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Bart Fraser,jaidi,Martin,dickson Punch,spiderman,chappers,Holmes Doble , Lambert(capt) what's that the side for then??
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Didnt Lallana say himself a couple of weeks ago he needed games to get match fit after his non pre season and spell out injured ? Oh well fair enough if that is the case, just seemed a bit risky to field arguably our best player against a team who will probably have no qualms in kicking lumps out of him
ericofarabia Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Bart Fraser,jaidi,Martin,dickson Punch,spiderman,chappers,Holmes Doble , Lambert(capt) 4 out of 11 .... must do better.
Window Cleaner Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Oh well fair enough if that is the case, just seemed a bit risky to field arguably our best player against a team who will probably have no qualms in kicking lumps out of him Lallana ...nope, they'll save that treatment for AOC. Wouldn't have risked him today myself.
beatlesaint Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Oh well fair enough if that is the case, just seemed a bit risky to field arguably our best player against a team who will probably have no qualms in kicking lumps out of him That of course is a worry yeah.....they have to get near him first of course :-)
Window Cleaner Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 That of course is a worry yeah.....they have to get near him first of course :-) Easy peasy, they'll just let him run smack into them at full pace. Don't even get a card for that as a rule.
simo Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 It took me so long to write out on this poxy phone and send its irrelevant now lol
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Oxo brings some much needed balance to the team. We're now as much as a threat down the right as we have been down the left. Would not like to be a shrews fullback today.
ericofarabia Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 LOL just seen their line ip .... Whispering Dave is going to have problems with this lot Shane Cansdell Sherriff, Temitope Obadeyi and the gloriously monickered Exodus Geohagen. just decided to change my Prediction League from 1-0 to 4-0.

Saint Charlie Posted 6 November, 2010 Posted 6 November, 2010 Shrews are doing very well in L2, won't be aan easy game, early goal vital or could be close I reckon.
