I'm pretty sure this has happened, no?

 

Again, I mean. :-) He's a quality strike short of goalscoring confidence - his strike against Daggers that went over the bar would probably have gone in last season, had he sunk it, it's most likely have started a run of form for him. It'll come, fortunately we have another striker that can poach goals. Barnard and Lambert are a good combo up front, and with Lallana they make a potent attacking threat.

If you have to ask that question ........ I know life gets in the way sometimes, like last Saturday. I was stood in a Sky retainers with a complete assh@le of Skate sky salesman trying to get the scores. Just listen to Saints and record the eggchasers. Simples

Hope we put a decent team out today because I get the feeling that Shrewsbury might give us a bit of a rough ride.Defence worries me

at the best of times tbh,with no Fonte it may be both exceptionally slow and exceptionally fragile, the Shrews will come at us from the kick off and we may well have to weather an uncomfortable 20 minutes or so.

get a grip man .... it barely reached mid 30''s today .... you should be more concerned about finding a light jacket to keep warm rather than the A/C not working FFS :lol:

The taming of the shrew.......probably not a great analogy for a football match really. Is not that play based on the scenario that it is

a means to trick a drunken tinker into thinking that he is Lord or something like that.Now the 4-0 drubbing of D+R would probably have been more fitting for that.....not that our fans are to be compared with drunken tinkers of course.;)

no Puncheon, no Morgan. Either they've been given time off same as Fonte because they've played a lot of games (Morgan might have gone home for his 21st on Monday I suppose) or there's trouble brewing.

Didnt Lallana say himself a couple of weeks ago he needed games to get match fit after his non pre season and spell out injured ?

Oh well fair enough if that is the case, just seemed a bit risky to field arguably our best player against a team who will probably have no qualms in kicking lumps out of him :)

Lallana ...nope, they'll save that treatment for AOC. Wouldn't have risked him today myself.
