TBF, even if it was the club, which i doubt, i wondered how long it would take. I don't know any employer that would put up with someone posting the team, tactics and any inside trouble on a regular basis.

Possibly, i dunno, don't think we will ever know.

 

Though i don't really trust someone who starts of saying he is an ex player and then denies it later.

 

If it was the club it happens, i know Reading FC got one of the posters on HobNob (their forum) banned from the forum AND the training ground, it was apparently Pardew who made sure that happened.

All of the mods and admin agreed that some of what he was saying was potentially libellous, but i'm not sure what triggered the actual banning.

 

Its only libellous if its not true. Didnt agree that he should have posted some of what he did but tbf what he said seemed to come true.

i am surprised at that as i am pretty certain that this bloke HAS 'played against' some ex saints, but not at football, thinksnooker hall i reckon..

 

 

Is it 'Ray' Reardon?

I actually thought the forum has been much better recently. Much more football related discussion and less pro/anti Cortese rantings.

 

It is a shame LB has gone however, as he clearly did have some inside info. I don't blame the mods though as I'm sure they only acted because they really needed to.

I guess that this highlights the problem. We don't know who he is so we guess and whilst we guess a lot of innocent people get accused.

 

Leftback has previously indicated that he is c. 50 years old. This rules out Fish as he is too young. It rules out Henderson as he is too old. He has previously indicated that at a gathering of football people, he had to explain that he was representing Southampton. I think that would rule out Franny as it would have been obvious who he would have been representing.

 

I have no idea who he is but whilst I tired of his anti Cortese bile , I was impressed by his knowledge of the team. He knew 24 hours before KO who was playing and he was clued up on Punchy's unhappiness. His ban is a disappointment .... but lets not guess wildly and name innocent people.

If he had been posting anti Lowe agenda a few years ago would anyone have banned him? Whatever you think of his spin, he did seem to have some genuine facts which is more than most of us on here have.

Well BAJ and Steve should know who he is due to his / or her (don't want to appear sexists) registration details and the fact you can't use a free email address so there is a trace to the person. Also the payment of his / or her's membership will also leave a trace. So it would not be difficult to find out who left back actually is.

No there isn't.

 

Cortese has had as much if not more bashing as Lowe did in a 3 month period in the last few months, especially when Pardew got sacked. If someone got banned everytime something libellious was posted about Cortese, 80% of this board would have been banned.

 

The discussion is about a curious poster who had inside information, which was proved correct on numerous occasions who also had an anti Cortese agenda. Why he was banned was up for the mods to decide. There is no link with Lowe there at all. None. The thread is about leftback and his comments about Cortese. Lowe is irrelevant to this debate.

 

It is very irritating that on numerous threads you start contributing to, the name "Lowe" is usually there in the first line. Most of the time the thread has absolutely nothing to do with Lowe, and you try and come up with a ludicrous justification as to why you bring him yet AGAIN. Practically all well known saints related players/managers/CEOs have had libellious material posted about them, and regular offenders (like leftback) have usually had the necessary action taken against them, it's just your extremely selective about which libellious material you choose to read and which you choose to ignore.

 

We've had other previous CEOs that came in for criticism and had libellious material posted about them, Crouch, Wilde, the list goes on. You don't mention any of them though do you? No you go on mention the same old person, same old thing over and over and over again.

he/she never paid and it was said that they don't know who it is.

Now when you go to uni or mcdonalds or kfc or even some pubs you get free wireless access,you can easily set up an e-mail address that can't be traced very easily and the IP provider for those outlets wouldn't have a clue who's using them. Why I must use at least 5 or 6 different connections when I'm posting on here.If I'd wanted it so the admin wouldn't have a clue as to my identity.I even get to log in sometimes on my neighbour's wireless network without even noticing it, silly sod hasn't secured it properly.

Lowe was the obvious choice because he got so much vitriolic flak for so long. But if you like I shall add Wilde, Crouch, Hone and Hoos too. Better? Lowe had few if any supporters. Cortese has quite a few, despite sacking Pardew.

 

These people are not irrelevant to this debate. Previous CEOs get slandered and no one gets banned. This one does and someone gets banned. Link. Like it or not matey.

 

Go back and count how many times Lowe is in the first line of my posts. If my posts irritate you so much, dont read them. Simples.
