I can see why Davis wasn't happy with their goal; their attacker on the line just jumped into him, and I noted left his foot in when Davis was on the floor too.

Looked at our pen a few times and I think the defender may have got some ball to be fair; will take it though.

Doesn't matter really, from the still photo on the OS it looks like a scissors tackle from behind, tackling behind being outlawed whether or not you touch the ball it just doesn't make any difference, especially if you sweep a players leg or legs from under him whilst doing it. It is a commonly held fallacy that "getting a foot on the ball" alters the legality of a bad tackle..it doesn't.

I hear what you say but I thought it was more from the side to be fair.

In fact the law has been changed by FIFA, all dangerous tackles are now sanctionable,no matter what angle they come from, it's up to the ref to decide

what's dangerous and what isn't.

Exactly, even if he did get a slight touch on the ball the way in which he came in for the tackle could easily be seen as dangerous.

I was interested to see that Alan Lee was sent off for Huddersfield. Fair play they beat us fair & square up there, but they had had 4 players sent off prior to playing us. Lee makes 5. They need a lenient ref to win games. Just a bunch of thugs IMHO.
