What are the Premier League playing at by allowing Hernandez to have his nickname on the back of his shirt?

 

It is not as though there are more than one Hernandez in the team.

 

Would we have been allowed to have Le God on the back of our number 7s shirt?

Same as with Christian "Chucho" Benitez at Brum. I think it is up to the rules of the FA that you were first ever registered with.

No, IIRC he has "DO PRADO". His signing photo on the OS said "GULY" though, but not his match shirts.
