after last weeks win from behind, this was another great test of character - and i think we've seen from that 2nd half in the last 2 weeks that we have the leaders and the drive to get the results.

 

We're within touching distance of it all now, but we cannot go into the daggers game thinking it's already won - i just fear complacency, but if we get get the maximum from that game too then i'll start to believe that at last we may be the real deal.

 

But this month is massive for us and will answer a lot of questions - we've set ourselves up perfectly, bring it on.

Right, well done today. Must not get too carried away now. Notts County were down to ten men, but at the same time they aren't a crap team and I think they will be higher at the end of the season than their current position. However, good win, 3 points in the bag and the most important thing we need to concentrate on is Dagenham and Redbridge midweek. Win that and we will probably be in the playoff places. Win that and we'll be able to chuck some more coal in the engine and keep us roaring up the table, momentum kept going.

im still worried tho. we aint playing 100% yet. we really need to step it up a gear now! great win tho table looks far better

 

if we're going to carry on winning 3-1/2-1 whilst not being 100%, there isn't too much to worry about!

away from home, we sound shocking! Mid table at best, God, I sound like a stuck record! This is league 1 for F##ks sake and we are a poor leagure 1 team!!!! anyone who thinks otherwise is deluded!! maybe Oxo will change it again, mmmm

we're coming from behind more often than julian clary, chuffed to bits with that win, up to the playoffs after dagenham??

 

possibly even 2nd if results go our way.

 

but we would need alot of results to go our way...

They surprised me nick, they didn't seem in control of that first half and i wasn't sure how we would turn it around. But that was a terrific 2nd half.

Nice win. Didnt look good at half time.

 

But Im starting to get that feeling I had last season - when we go 1-0 down I'm still confident we can win!

As Dave pointed out we started playing them higher up, pressing onto their defence thus not allowing them to aid their midfield.

Not complaining tonight, 3 points away from home is welcome from any game. Not going overboard about the '2 points from second' either - lots of other teams are there or there abouts as well. Bottom line - forget the table, keep picking up the points and the rest will see itself right. Well done lads - now Nige, a quick word in some ears about win celebratory drinks, just to be on the safe side eh...!!!

well done boys. Grew towards the end of the first half and continued through in to the second. Need to start playing earlier though. 3-1 is great away scoreline but easily could have been 3-0 down in the first half. So still work to be done. Good win Saints well done.

As to the 'new manager' hoodoo? Another one nicely dispensed with.

Have to agree with that, as some have said the first half did not sound great, therefore it just makes the come back even better, bring on the daggers.

we won while still not playing as well as i believe we should be, but thats a great sign..Can brighton really be that good at the top?

Adkins is a very educated guy.. I reckon it was all planned :) play sh!t in first half then smash em in the second half :-P

 

Good observation this. Since adkins took over, our second half performances have been much much better, compared with us faltering away in the second half at the start.

 

Adkins has made a superb start, and the results speak for themselves

Oh dear we won, how the f### am I supposed to deal with that. Oops sorry forgot I've been a Saint for over 40 years!!! LOL.

Every confidence that Adkins will get us promoted automatically. Big game Tues can we do it????
