Gemmel Posted 30 October, 2010 Posted 30 October, 2010 No not Robsk Harriet Harman has called Danny Alexander a "Ginger Rodent" Now whilst I don't personally subscribe to name calling being racist, in the politically correct world is this not a form of racism? http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-scotland-politics-11658228

jawillwill Posted 30 October, 2010 Posted 30 October, 2010 Does anyone give a sh!t? If more had been made of it everyone would be banging on about it being "PC gone mad" yet now not much has been made of it people seem to be insulted by it.
badgerx16 Posted 30 October, 2010 Posted 30 October, 2010 (edited) Well (1) he is certainly ginger, and (2) as a LibDem he will be viewed by many as having 'ratted' out his party's voters. Edited 30 October, 2010 by badgerx16

You miss the point - Millionairess Public schoolgirl Harriet who went to the same school as Osborne preaches more than anyone else about equality and bigotry and then has a go at somebody for being ginger.
mickn Posted 30 October, 2010 Posted 30 October, 2010 When I saw the thread title I felt sure it would be about Bianca Jackson
Johnny Bognor Posted 30 October, 2010 Posted 30 October, 2010 I can't believe not more has been made of this TBH Indeed. Had this been a tory, we would be one 100+ posts and 5+ pages by now.
Frank's cousin Posted 31 October, 2010 Posted 31 October, 2010 Indeed. Had this been a tory, we would be one 100+ posts and 5+ pages by now. That's 'cause Tory's are all ****s ;-)

Like most politicians then really?
dubai_phil Posted 31 October, 2010 Posted 31 October, 2010 Wow, I've been away too long. I see that being a Hairist is now a hanging offence, watch out at footie games calling ref's you bald headed ***** you'll end up being dissected in some lab to find out what went wrong with the grand plan. Meanwhile she really is a **** of the first order and hope she gets b1tch slapped because of this
dronskisaint Posted 31 October, 2010 Posted 31 October, 2010 I hear ginger rodents put in the initial complaint!
Barney Trubble Posted 31 October, 2010 Posted 31 October, 2010 Name calling, it's part and parcel of life. I get called a name because I am small, somebody else because they are fat or thin, another person because they have goofy teeth, bald or have long hair. We have a country crumbling apart and all we have to worry about is a bit of banter between two politicians, so we now have a media witch-hunt to try and get someone sacked or make an humble apology for calling someone......GINGER!!!! I'm sorry, it's laughable and shows how far up our own asses we have become. Let's stop name calling as it's hurtful to peoples feelings......you know what, I really couldn't give a toss and neither should any of you, as adults you really need to take a look at yourself, have a look in the mirror and see if you a man looking back at you or a sensitive pathetic excuse for one. I think you should start a facebook group up to highlight the dangers of name-calling in modern day Britain, maybe try and get he huge subject placed on the national curriculum at primary age level, that way, kids can't have a bit of fun anymore and they will grow up to be as odious, lifeless and lacking in personality as some of you. GINGER FREAKS!!!! NA, NA, NA, NA, NA........oh now I've gone and done it this time haven't I? dear, dear......what have we become.

I think it is the press pushing this as labour made us such an overly PC-Correct country that the double standards shown by her (and what she supposedly believes in) are utterly laughable
aintforever Posted 31 October, 2010 Posted 31 October, 2010 Gingers are not a race so I suppose it cannot be called racist but calling someone a Ginger Rodent is no different to calling someone a Black C*nt.

Jimmy Gabriel's Halo Posted 31 October, 2010 Posted 31 October, 2010 And what is supremely ironic is the fact that she has most likely committed an offence under the recent equality legilslation brought into law a couple of weeks ago and which was her own piece of legislation as a parting shot at the English by a spent and utterly discredited Labour government. You couldn't make it up really.
hamster Posted 31 October, 2010 Posted 31 October, 2010 (edited) More a form of rodentism. this. Edited 31 October, 2010 by hamster

dune Posted 31 October, 2010 Posted 31 October, 2010 If a Tory had made that remark the lefties would be up in arms.
Gemmel Posted 31 October, 2010 Author Posted 31 October, 2010 If a Tory had made that remark the lefties would be up in arms. Whatever your politics , its very hard to disagree with this. If a Tory had said that, we would be talking resignations etc etc

Harman has been shown to be an almighty hypocrite. But no, she is on the red side.... ahhhh bless her...... Silly thing made a boo boo.

Not unless Osborne went to a girl's school http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harriet_Harman This is a real egg in the face for Harman and I've got little sympathy for her but in her defence Danny Alexander is a bit of ****.
