SuperMikey Posted 29 October, 2010 Posted 29 October, 2010 They are both coming to the University tonight to do separate Q&A sessions with students - any questions you'd like me to ask? Cable is on at 4.30 and Farage at 6.00.
buctootim Posted 29 October, 2010 Posted 29 October, 2010 If they got married would they be Mr & Mr Cabage or Mr & Mr Farc all?
anothersaintinsouthsea Posted 29 October, 2010 Posted 29 October, 2010 To Cable: During the financial crisis many commentators said that you had the best handle on what was going on. Now that the Lib Dems are u-turning on so many manifesto pledges because "they didn't realise how bad things were" does that mean the commentators were wrong? that you didn't actually know what was going on? To Cable: Are you going to join the Conservative Party or are you retiring at the next election?
SuperMikey Posted 29 October, 2010 Author Posted 29 October, 2010 Didn't go as planned. Received a text earlier asking whether I was coming to the Q&A on Uni Spending with VC, who I had assumed was Vince Cable. Turns out it was the Vice Chancellor of the university instead. Secondly, Farage's Q&A was absolutely packed by the time I got there, so couldn't get in. And then it started raining while I was getting ready to walk home. Not a great day.
hypochondriac Posted 29 October, 2010 Posted 29 October, 2010 Shame. If I had known I would have come to see Farage. Great man.
dune Posted 29 October, 2010 Posted 29 October, 2010 That reminds me, I have my UKIP leadership election vote to send off.
dune Posted 29 October, 2010 Posted 29 October, 2010 http://nigelforleader.co.uk/pages/faqs.php?qa_id=2.23 Nice one Nigel.
ecuk268 Posted 30 October, 2010 Posted 30 October, 2010 Shame. If I had known I would have come to see Farage. Great man. Judging by their electoral performance, not many people think so. Candidates standing: 570 Candidates elected: 0 If he was a football manager, he'd be sacked.

Second above Labour and the Lib/Dems, which goes to show a lot of people share his opinions on Europe.
dubai_phil Posted 30 October, 2010 Posted 30 October, 2010 Did Faraj explain why he messed up the Skate Takeover?
ecuk268 Posted 30 October, 2010 Posted 30 October, 2010 They're perceived as a single-issue party, so they'll always be on the fringes. Despite his opposition to Europe it didn't stop Mr Farage claiming £2m expenses over 10 years on top of his £64k salary.
Joensuu Posted 30 October, 2010 Posted 30 October, 2010 Shame. If I had known I would have come to see Farage. Great man. Sometimes you make very good posts. Shame you also write others like this.

Spot on....waste of space, self-publicist whose chief claim to fame is insulting a Belgian. That must have been worth your vote & his expense package...sarcastic winky thing.
