SFC Chris Posted 12 November, 2010 Share Posted 12 November, 2010 Booked the train tickets today.... hopefully we can get tickets before the game - would be gutted to travel all the way down and end up in the home end! Any pubs around the ground worth a visit (or noted to avoid?!)
woodfc Posted 12 November, 2010 Share Posted 12 November, 2010 (edited) good effort that man go in rugby club before game i will buy you a pint . Rugby Club it is then. With the time it takes to get to Carlisle im treating this as an away European Cup tie, its the nearest we're going to get for a few more years! Or maybe i'm deluded! Hemel Saint Posted 14 November, 2010 Share Posted 14 November, 2010 I cant start my own threads, so placed it here... interesting topic from Echo on about our away support... http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/8635544.Saints_fans_keep_up_remarkable_away_following/?ref=rss here is a small snip ... (snip) Saints have the remarkable record of taking over 1,000 fans to every away league game this season. Their highest away following of the season was at Notts County where they notched up an impressive 2,229 and the lowest the trip to Yorkshire to face Huddersfield where their following still numbered 1,070. Saints’ average away following this season is around 1,400, which gives them pretty much the best away following in League One and one of the very best in the Football League...... oldsarum Posted 17 November, 2010 Share Posted 17 November, 2010 Here's a good website for details of away support http://www.thefootballforum.net/index.php?/topic/189566-the-official-npower-league-1-away-support-section/page__st__300 our average on there before Carlisle was 1,694 so it should now be down according to my calulations to 1,
