sfc1971 Posted 25 October, 2010 Posted 25 October, 2010 On his way to Leeds ? There were a few rumours around he was interveiwed before Grayson Who looks more like getting the "tin tack" Each time they play.
Mr Saints Posted 25 October, 2010 Posted 25 October, 2010 Newcastle I heard. If they hadn't won at West Ham, Hughton was on his way.
Smirking_Saint Posted 25 October, 2010 Posted 25 October, 2010 Why does everyone think he is prem quality ? He clearly wasn't
Colinjb Posted 25 October, 2010 Posted 25 October, 2010 Why does everyone think he is prem quality ? He clearly wasn't If Avram Grant is Pards certainly is. Either way, best of luck to him whatever.
saintscottofthenortham Posted 25 October, 2010 Posted 25 October, 2010 Why does everyone think he is prem quality ? He clearly wasn't This. Now move on ffs.
Smirking_Saint Posted 25 October, 2010 Posted 25 October, 2010 If Avram Grant is Pards certainly is. Either way, best of luck to him whatever. Well, i can't really argue that lol How is he still there ??
Micky Posted 25 October, 2010 Posted 25 October, 2010 Newcastle I heard. If they hadn't won at West Ham, Hughton was on his way. How the hell can they contemplate sacking the guy that got them to the Premiership where they now sit in the top half (9th I think).
Colinjb Posted 25 October, 2010 Posted 25 October, 2010 How the hell can they contemplate sacking the guy that got them to the Premiership where they now sit in the top half (9th I think). Because they are idiots. It's about time they realised that they are not Barcelona, they are a newly promoted team and that 17th or higher would this year be success.
RedArmy Posted 25 October, 2010 Posted 25 October, 2010 He'll be West Ham manager again at some point IMO. Good luck to him wherever he ends up.

Exactly - Newcastle United - MASSIVE club that has won the square root of sh@gshyte in the last, what 6 - 7 decades, now looking to offload the Manager that got them promoted (at the first attempt?) - some people are never satisfied...!!!
doddisalegend Posted 25 October, 2010 Posted 25 October, 2010 How the hell can they contemplate sacking the guy that got them to the Premiership where they now sit in the top half (9th I think). Maybe he is ****ging all the newcastle WAGs? Lots of football chairman have itchy trigger fingers, these days losing three games on the trot is cuase for a sacking it seems look at Notts county.

Nadia Sllim Posted 26 October, 2010 Posted 26 October, 2010 Pardews next job will be Manager Of Crystal Palace.
Pedro Posted 26 October, 2010 Posted 26 October, 2010 Always seem weird hearing our ex managers either being sacked or being wanted. Strachan, Jones, Pardew, Burley, Hoddle, Pearson, Redcrap etc.
SouthlondonSaint Posted 26 October, 2010 Posted 26 October, 2010 Thought Pardew came in and did a pretty decent job. Working with loads and loads of Charlton, Daggers and Southend fans, he is widely hated here in the South East of London, although West Ham fans seem to think that one day he'll be back at Upton Park!
sambosa75 Posted 26 October, 2010 Posted 26 October, 2010 Total fallacy about Newcastle fans wanting Hughton out. Not one of them does, they love him up there. You will find the rumours circulating about Hughton under pressure have come from the press in an attempt to stir up trouble. Hughton has turned Newcastle in to a tough side to beat with a decent spine. Players like Coloccini, Williamson, Enrique, Barton, Nolan, Guthrie, Carroll etc have all improved under him and I know for a fact he is really popular amongst the fans up there.
thesaint sfc Posted 26 October, 2010 Posted 26 October, 2010 Best of luck to him wherever he ends up. I'd still be quite happy if he was here.
sammysaint Posted 28 October, 2010 Posted 28 October, 2010 If he joins a team this season does it mean we pay less compo ? He done a good job here my thing is if he joins a championship team who will be mid table at the worse he would take some of our players who played very well under him like lambo and maybe Hammond
niceandfriendly Posted 28 October, 2010 Posted 28 October, 2010 His record here can't be argued with, good luck to him wherever he ends up.
dune Posted 28 October, 2010 Posted 28 October, 2010 A completely over rated manager if ever there was one.
Nadia Sllim Posted 31 October, 2010 Posted 31 October, 2010 Pardews next job will be Manager Of Crystal Palace. Set to replace good old GB at Palace in the next 10 days!
saint_mears Posted 31 October, 2010 Posted 31 October, 2010 Set to replace good old GB at Palace in the next 10 days! according to the news of the world
Window Cleaner Posted 31 October, 2010 Posted 31 October, 2010 burley is finished he was already finished in his last season with us, trouble is he took us down with him.Didn't matter who he bought, how much we spent or how much we paid the players they turned into crap overnight.

Window Cleaner Posted 31 October, 2010 Posted 31 October, 2010 how lucky were we that scotland came calling he should have been sacked long, long before that; Crouch should have done it.This is my main beef with LC, he didn't face up to the evidence and do what was necessary.

I thought it was widely suggested at the time that we simply could not afford to sack him.
Window Cleaner Posted 31 October, 2010 Posted 31 October, 2010 I thought it was widely suggested at the time that we simply could not afford to sack him. crap, we spent a million £ on Andrew Davies didn't we??? October/November 2007 was when it should have happened yet we still had over a million £ to throw away on a player we might have been able to keep on loan anyway.A pair of balls were what we were lacking, Leon didn't want to rock the boat because he was planning his boardroom schemes to take over the club for nothing.
Legod Third Coming Posted 31 October, 2010 Posted 31 October, 2010 he was already finished in his last season with us, trouble is he took us down with him.Didn't matter who he bought, how much we spent or how much we paid the players they turned into crap overnight. It did matter who he bought. When many of us were crying out for a centre back to replace the injured Svensson and Lundekvam and the sold Baird (who I am chuffed to see doing so well at Fulham), Burley went and bought a fecking hatful of central midfielders (at one time we had 11 on our books) and not one of them could tackle a ham sandwich! It was clear from pre-season he didn't have a clue how to take us forward. (which I agree makes your main point very valid).

Just dont understand how what you said was so obvious why did we not get in a CB apart from Bennett who is only a League 1 CB at best. Although we had Saga Rasiak BWP we then got in Euell and John which seemed madness to me a bad as the decision to Appoint Wigley

S-Clarke Posted 31 October, 2010 Posted 31 October, 2010 Andrew Davies wasn't a bad buy. tbf Davies was an emergancy loan signing, we had to wait until the 9th october to sign him. and he's now playing for Walsall in L1 (well he was, but he's now injured for 4 weeks....again). The fact he was our player of the season says more about how bad we were.

Legod Third Coming Posted 31 October, 2010 Posted 31 October, 2010 Andrew Davies wasn't a bad buy. No, but by the time the bolt arrived, we'd let horses maraud through our stable for two months...
