Guitar Recommendations

Looking around for a new guitar.

 

Im looking for something gorgeous sustain, fairly flat next, even my SG neck feels a little too wide for me. Helpful if it has a few nice thing to play with on it, such as a kill switch.

 

At the moment I'm tempted by Fender Jag HH Special, but am open to suggestions.

 

Sure I started a thread like this a couple of years ago and the resounding opinion was an ESP Gibson Les Paul clone... anyway...

Ive got a 100W you can borrow mate, but your littleun was ok, just...!

It'll be ok when we eventually put everything through a PA, even things out a bit.

Why dont we try putting your guitar DI'd through the PA anyway. Ive got a DI box thatll help even the signal too, saves carting your matchbox amp around

I think we need all the PA magic for your mic at the moment, could barely hear you the other day such was the ferocity of our rawk. DI box could work though, bring it along!

None of this is helping you to buy a new guitar though.

Trouble with that PA is that its cheap, has no device to kill feedback and the room is so small I can't turn it up to get the vocals the right level... will have more of a play tomorrow tho

same room fella. and putting your bass through teh PA doesnt matter since we have a line level for each input.

if youre after a thin neck try an Indie anniversary special. Even I can play that, terrific sustain and low, fast action as well plus they look great.

you know where i work, do you remember the dining hall?

 

great parking, double doors for easy loading straight from vehicles, drinks machine, neighbours a decent distance away (as long as you dont go mental, FREE wireless internet and accesss to the sweetshop. Oh yeah and a PA system which I know not how powerful it is, but iirc the volume goes right up to 11!

anyone know a good electic guitar teacher for school age boy - dead keen and started on rockschool exams? Looking for someone ideally Hedge End / West end / Bitterne type area.
