The Mrs had convinced herself that she was pregnant but has done a test and it's negative.

Now really quite upset and wondering why she's:

A) late and

B) been feeling sick for a week

One test doesn't prove anything Bridgey. Tell her to do another in a week or so if she still feels the same.

Or

Your penis may be infected ?? ;)

Yeah, I think the old chap is defected!!

Meh if it spurts it works.

If your actually trying though it can take f*cking ages. The people i know who have been trying try for ages yet if you go an sh*g some bint of a night out you can put your house on the fact they will be preggers.

Strange

Yeah, only been trying for a month or so. Same deal, friends have been trying for about a year still no joy.

Makes no sense.

as said above, one negative test means nothing. Do another in a week or so. We had 3 negative's this time round before we had the one confirming. I love the term "Trying" - It really is just a way of telling everyone your at it every 10 minutes. Unfortunatly my womb raiders dont waste any time so my chance of nookie at the click of the finger lasted a mere 5 weeks - ffs.

^^^I know its just repeating what everyone else has said, but sensitivity, reassurance and a caring approach to your lady's feelings are paramount at the moment. Sorry to reiterate the other posters advice.

hey smirker, what happened to turkish? did he get banned or has he just f*cked off?

Banned i think, but TBF i don't actually know him outside the forum.

Shame though, he could be a bit of a wind up but he didn't deserve banning.

Didn't he disappear once someone had posted a photo of him on here?? Maybe he just feels he can't say the things he does now that people may recognise him :)

By the way, good luck with the sex stuff Bridgey (lucky b@stard). If it's any consolation I've been fncking my fist all my life and it's still not up the duff.....

My Missus looked at what she thought was a neg test and went off to get a bottle of wine, I took a look at it and could see a very faint line. I showed her the test, she didn't drink the wine and a week later tested again and it was positive. It's all based on hormones and the level of them in the urine, it can take some individuals a bit longer to produce enough hormone (protein, based on a protein based enzyme linked immunosorbent assay) to produce a result that yields a positive result

Perhaps you should try swapping partners.

Has your lady recently come of the Pill? It can take a long time (over a year) for all systems to return to 'normal'. My daughter took over a year to get pregnant. Then, for their second, they thought that if the first took so long they had better get going quickly. There is only 18 months between their two kiddies.

Yeah was thinking this last night.

She's been off the pill for 3 months, after probably 10-12 years of being on it so it must take ages for the cr@p to come out of your system....which is probably why teenagers get pregnant so easily?

Today's update: still no sign of 'it' and sick after half a sandwich!

I think it's called 'mucus' but that's probably too much information.

If you're worried I would go to the doctors, at least you can then rule out anything being wrong...

Still no sign of anything and provided Dr's with a sample.

Results came back today and the nurse wouldn't give results out over the phone, and we have to go in tomorrow am.

Is this normal for all test, seeing the Dr in person i mean?
