Pancake Posted 22 October, 2010 Share Posted 22 October, 2010 Need some recommendations people. I need a decent "drum machine", a synth and something that allows the recording and manipulation of stuff from audio-in (be that live guitar, vocals, deck..whatever) Chers in advance you gorgeous collection of misfits, geeks and musos. NorthamSteve Posted 22 October, 2010 Share Posted 22 October, 2010 Drum kit from hell. If you can find some software to run that, it's very, very good.
Baj Posted 22 October, 2010 Share Posted 22 October, 2010 I use Addictive Drums and get some brilliant results from that, my studio of choice is Cubase

Pancake Posted 22 October, 2010 Author Share Posted 22 October, 2010 Yeah, had to re-install AD to get it working in the end. Just the demo at the mo, but a great bit of kit. Need to start on some custom drum patterns and then dust off the bass and SG this weekend
SuperMikey Posted 22 October, 2010 Share Posted 22 October, 2010 Anyone know where I can get Audio/MIDI interface hardware cheap? I used an Edirol UA-25 at college and that seemed pretty good, although the cheapest i've found it is at around £120. Will need some sequencing software and probably a MIDI controller (keyboard) as well.
