Weston Saint Posted 10 October, 2008 Share Posted 10 October, 2008 You and the other SOS representatives made a commitment to stipulate to MW that the meeting was minuted and reported back on tsf. This was debated and was agreed beforehand. Then you got to the meeting and paniced you might be missing out on something (in much the same way as you pulled the ki ora dog (i'll be your friend woof woof) routine with tommac)) and decided you'd look after your own ITK interests. The SOS debacle clearly shows that your integrity is not to be trusted and that you only value the comittment of a promise when it suits. So where's the twisting? This is exactly what happened. I will let others judge Tris, not you.
Mole Posted 10 October, 2008 Share Posted 10 October, 2008 I will let others judge Tris, not you. As you please Ronald. It takes integrity and morals to admit you were in the wrong. I won't hold my breath waiting for an apology from you.
Roman Posted 10 October, 2008 Share Posted 10 October, 2008 As you please Ronald. It takes integrity and morals to admit you were in the wrong. I won't hold my breath waiting for an apology from you. I doubt I'm in that much of a minority here in thinking of Weston as a trusted and valued poster. Whatever the rights or wrongs of the SOS affair, it demonstrated how lethally poisonous have been the politics within the boardroom and among the powers that be. The only conclusion you can reasonably draw from the affair is: you parlay with these characters at your peril. SOS merely demonstrated how utterly powerless we are in the face of some self-obsessed geniuses breezing through executive offices of the club. If you want to point the finger, I'd start with Wilde, whose role in the downward spiral of the club has been, in my opinion, far more destructive than anything the 'revolutionary' Lowe could concoct. Roman and Sundance agree again. Getting to be a regular occurence although the inverted commas were perhaps unnecessary but if it helps you come to the right conclusion eventually then that's ok for now. Two great posts from Saint Warwick and NickH and once again they go unchallenged by the stay aways. Far too logical and sensible to argue against I guess. Nice to see no matter what happens this club is worthy of our support and has supporters this club can be proud off however thick or thin the wedge is perceived to be. You really shouldn't make a habit of referring to yourself in the third person - it's a very bad road to be going down. I assume that you are aware of pronouns because you use them elsewhere. I kind of agree with you in the sense that Wilde has let EVERYONE down, but even then his ****-ups still fall short of Lowes - just. The biggest issue i have with Wilde isn't his incompetent employment of the Execs, or even the way he flounced into SFC giving the impression it'd herald investment, my real problem with Wilde is the way he's used the clubs supporters. He used Keith and S4E. He used the Saints Trust. He used the SOS delegation. And he betrayed fans oposed to the return of Rupert Lowe.
