derry Posted 22 October, 2010 Posted 22 October, 2010 What formation would you be using for that? 4-1-2C-2W-1 with the full backs supporting wide men and both central midfielders attacking. But it won't happen.
jinglesaints Posted 22 October, 2010 Posted 22 October, 2010 Two changes to the line up from last weekend i think. Barnard in for Guly and Chaplow for the suspended Hammond. Watching Nigel speak about Rickie i think he is fine. Nigel just said Rickie will have to wear a head bandage as the stitches are still in his head. 3-0 victory i believe, with Barnard, Lallana and Rickie scoring!
fanimal Posted 22 October, 2010 Posted 22 October, 2010 Imagine the fun as well if the mob down the road are (hopefully) no more!!! Cue lots of new songs........

sfc4prem Posted 22 October, 2010 Posted 22 October, 2010 Davis Butterfield - Fonte - Seaborne - Harding Puncheon - Schneiderlin - Chaplow - Lallana Guly Barnard For some reason I have a good feeling about Lambo being out... I don't know why but I think we might put in a better performance...

the saint in winchester Posted 22 October, 2010 Posted 22 October, 2010 Davis Butterfield - Fonte - Seaborne - Harding Oxo - Schneiderlin - Chaplow - Lallana Guly Barnard Doble on the bench to replace either of the front 2, depending how its going.
Saint_clark Posted 22 October, 2010 Posted 22 October, 2010 alright then fine, im paying full price I tried it already for a mate of mine, they said only one transaction per ST. I imagine a lot of people have already got their mates cheap tickets.
Ziggy Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 What's the weather like? Will I need my bobble hat?
georgeweahscousin Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 COYR. Doble to get a run off the bench?
musesaint Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 Have a good feeling about today And having just watched Puncheon on Saints Player I hope the fans get behind him ...and not on his back! He will score our first goal today
saint_bert Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 2-0 im going for. Win the next three to really get motoring.
Saints Warrior Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 1-0 Saints and we sing `we dont need another rival we just want to see the Skates go bust` to thunderdome music
Dalek2003 Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 I think we will win 2 -0 today. Could do with a run of good form. If we do go up this year it will have to be via the playoff lottery IMO.

Dalek2003 Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 Further to their plight.....can they reform under a slightly different name ? I suggest they are allowed to and start in the Sunday morning pub league, division 7.
SO16_Saint Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 Further to their plight.....can they reform under a slightly different name ? I suggest they are allowed to and start in the Sunday morning pub league, division 7. ...Southampton league first!
Dalek2003 Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 ...Southampton league first! Hmm..not sure their loyal supporter would travel that far to watch them.
SuperMikey Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 2-1 to Saints methinks, although it won't be an easy game at all. Oldham are a good side, they'll cause us problems. -----------------------DAVIS----------------------- BUTTERFIELD-----FONTE-----SEABORNE-----HARDING PUNCHEON-----MORGAN------CHAPLOW-----LALLANA ---------------BARNARD-----GULY------------------ Barnard to score 2.
Window Cleaner Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 Further to their plight.....can they reform under a slightly different name ? I suggest they are allowed to and start in the Sunday morning pub league, division 7. who knows, someone might bank roll them and they'll shoot through the divisions and then implode again...remember Road Sea,although at least a couple of their players actually did work for them like Ray Collins.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 I hate to say this, but Oldham are doing OK at the moment - they'll park the bus and hope for a sloppy defensive moment to hit us on the break, which we have a habit of gifting teams. Having said that, if they play with just one striker we'll be more able to play our game and get a good result. Suppose it comes down to how well their manager has done his homework, how he sets the team out and how well they can deliver a game plan. Difficult to predict - 1-1 I'm thinking, but Saints hopefully will motor now and get a 3-1 win.
sperm_john Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 didnt realise the 7.50 purchase extra tickets with season ticket price was only in advance... thats ****ed up my day =(

K,Billy's supersound Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 mmmmm dont like the look of all this rain hope it stops and dosn't hinder are passing game otherwise are job is gonna be the little bit harder today.
Surman4no7shirt Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 Andy D'Urso is the referee. We will loose 3-0, 2 pens 1 free kick on the edge of the area. Lambert, Davies and Bernard sent off
Window Cleaner Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 mmmmm dont like the look of all this rain hope it stops and dosn't hinder are passing game otherwise are job is gonna be the little bit harder today. Hmmm; anyone with an OU qualifiication in Tapatalk or T9 or whatever they call it want to give me a translation of that??
Window Cleaner Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 Andy D'Urso is the referee. We will loose 3-0, 2 pens 1 free kick on the edge of the area. Lambert, Davies and Bernard sent off don't get many optimists like yourself on here these days though.
Surman4no7shirt Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 don't get many optimists like yourself on here these days though. I think I was being optimistic with D'Urso being the referee. If I was being pessimistic I would have said 6-0, 2 pens, 4 players sent off and a 4 goal forfeit.
SuperMikey Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 this is a good looking side, unfortunately we won't see it today, or not at the start at least, we'll play the undroppable RL and he probably won't score from open play. Rickie's still not fit from the concussion he suffered against Huddersfield apparently, although I bet we'll see him on the bench.

THEVMAN Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 Rickie is starting, same team as last week again as far as i know.
Window Cleaner Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 Rickie is starting, same team as last week again as far as i know. well it can't be exactly the same can it, Morgan for Deano to be sure but probably about the same for the rest. I am convinced that RL cannot be dropped unless he's really really unfit and the manager has to live with that.
madruss Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 well it can't be exactly the same can it, Morgan for Deano to be sure but probably about the same for the rest. I am convinced that RL cannot be dropped unless he's really really unfit and the manager has to live with that. You seem to be suggesting that he's got a contractual right to start?? 37 goals last season suggests another reason he doesn't get dropped, not to mention all the assists
Kingsbridge Saint Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 Won't be happy if we don't win this one. No games are easy but if we are looking at top 2 - Oldham at home?
Surman4no7shirt Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 Won't be happy if we don't win this one. No games are easy but if we are looking at top 2 - Oldham at home? Again, let me say it. D'Urso.
Window Cleaner Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 As expected Davis ©. Butterfield, Fonte, Seaborne, Harding. Puncheon, Chaplow, Schneiderlin, Lallana. Guly, Lambert
chrisobee Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 Andy D'Urso is the referee. We will loose 3-0, 2 pens 1 free kick on the edge of the area. Lambert, Davies and Bernard sent off I'm not sure even Andy D'Urso could manage to send off someone we haven't got playing for us !
chrisobee Posted 23 October, 2010 Posted 23 October, 2010 Again, let me say it. D'Urso. And there goes your final post for today:rolleyes:
