Dog Posted 20 October, 2010 Posted 20 October, 2010 OK, my Auntie died yesterday, she was 102. God rest her soul and all that. Anyway my mother is out of the country at the moment and she has asked me to get a wreath delivered from her. But I don't know what to write on the card. Help me please. Her name was Hilda.
Dog Posted 20 October, 2010 Author Posted 20 October, 2010 It's not a wreath, sorry. It's a bunch of flowers for her son & daughter who she lived with.
Whitey Grandad Posted 20 October, 2010 Posted 20 October, 2010 If your mum asked you to get it then you'd better put her name on it. If you're not sure, ring or text your mum for the wording.

Whitey Grandad Posted 20 October, 2010 Posted 20 October, 2010 What, and spoil her holiday. You mean she doesn't know?
Dog Posted 20 October, 2010 Author Posted 20 October, 2010 You mean she doesn't know? Yeah, of course she knows, but I wouldn't want her to spoil her gin & tonics.
Whitey Grandad Posted 20 October, 2010 Posted 20 October, 2010 Yeah, of course she knows, but I wouldn't want her to spoil her gin & tonics. I understand. I presume that Hilda was her sister so then something simple and dignified, e.g. 'with fondest memories from ... You will remain in our hearts forever. May you Rest in Peace'
hamster Posted 20 October, 2010 Posted 20 October, 2010 What's your Mum's name Dog? assuming the message is aimed at her (Hilda's) kids ? with deepest sympathy from auntie (insert mum's name) xx
