I think it's move on time - don't you?

We've all been there, only two week ago after losing three on the trot our fans forums were full of the 'sack Lee Clark' stuff and blaming certain players for being soft as ****e. Now, with two league wins we're going to '**** this league'. To be honest football fans make me laugh, they're so bloody shallow. I know we all pay our money but do we really need people going on personality breakdowns because we lose games. Just like you lot, most of us at Huddersfield Town are 'in it' for the rest of our days so momentary lapses must be seen for what they are! In any case, when things do take an upturn it makes them even more enjoyable!

At Southampton you're actually a very lucky set of football fans, if you did but know it! You've been in the top League for decades until recently which is far more than my club has achieved and to be fair, I'd give anything for a quarter of the success your team has achieved.

Both goals were preventable.

All goals are preventable if you want to deal in ifs, buts and maybes.

From where I was sat on Saturday they were two well taken goals but if they armchair managers want to analyse everything as if they were Andy Gray then they can fill their boots.

The tv replays are much more accurate than seeing the instantaneous event live. I see every home game, but I get a more accurate view from the tv replays on what I thought I saw from a distance. NA says they were sloppy, but your obviously expert opinion has to be accepted, two great goals!

you clearly don't have a grasp of peoples arguments. The goals were well taken yes, but everything running up to the actual shot was sloppy by Saints. Resorting to calling supporters `armchair managers' that simply remember and understand what happened running up to each goal shows how weak your arguement/opinion is. I was at the game by the way.

I thought it was you that had the league titles?

That was a few years before I was born mate!

My first season was 1959/60 in fact! A certain Bill Shankly was our manager and Denis Law our inside forward. But yeah, first club to win the 'League Title' three times in a row still has a nice ring about it. In fact, I still think of clubs as they were when I first started going to games and that tends to inform how I see them in comparison to ourselves to this day. So... the Portsmouths, Middlesboroughs, the Boltons, the Blackburns, the Fulhams and dare I say it the Southamptons are no bigger than my club in my eyes. All I will say is somewhere along the line someone at these clubs has had the ambition and the foresight to take them higher then we've been over the years on a fairly consistent basis!
