moon monkey Posted 16 October, 2010 Share Posted 16 October, 2010 Reunions are a bad idea, you can never bring back the golden days so don't even try. But it is still good to know Gilmour and Waters are on speaking terms.
sadoldgit Posted 17 October, 2010 Share Posted 17 October, 2010 Emerson, Lake and Palmer got together again recently. Interesting from a historical perspective but nowehere near as good as they were in their prime. The best thing The Beatles ever did was not reform. Still it is a nice earner (for charity or otherwise). In the good old days bands made no or little money from being on the road and toured to boost record sales. Now they earn a fortune from a tour, the live CD/DVD etc.
Hamilton Saint Posted 17 October, 2010 Share Posted 17 October, 2010 Here's what Roger Waters said about a possible reunion-tour in an interview last April to promote his current tour performing The Wall: "David (Gilmour) is completely disinterested in anything like that. After Live 8, I could have probably gone for doing some more stuff, but he's not interested, so it is what it is."
