JackFrost Posted 15 October, 2010 Share Posted 15 October, 2010 even better than the RATM one IMO http://www.facebook.com/cageagainstthemachine
RedArmy Posted 15 October, 2010 Share Posted 15 October, 2010 I thought it was going to be Limp Bizkit - Rollin' ?
Redbul Posted 15 October, 2010 Share Posted 15 October, 2010 This is a worthy contender. Whatever you think of it or whatever your take on it is, it'll flick the Vs at the X Factor entry!!!!
Colinjb Posted 15 October, 2010 Share Posted 15 October, 2010 4 minutes and 33 second to reflect on the previous year or a bland kareoke style balad. Only one winner for me.
Lighthouse Posted 15 October, 2010 Share Posted 15 October, 2010 Agree with this in principle but I wont be buying it. Having thought long and hard about it I've decided I don't actually care. I'm sure having a number 1 single is massive for the artist concerned and all their fans, but for the average mong on the streets it's just a f**king list of songs FFS! Lord Duckhunter Posted 15 October, 2010 Share Posted 15 October, 2010 I didn't know they still had the charts, surely its a bit pointless without TOTP's.
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 16 October, 2010 Share Posted 16 October, 2010 I thought it was going to be Limp Bizkit - Rollin' ? On a similar note I thought it was going to be that 'Surfin' Bird' song?
jawillwill Posted 16 October, 2010 Share Posted 16 October, 2010 I love the X-factor so will probably be buying who wins its effort. My mum, sisters and aunties also like it to and its becoming a bit of a tradidition that a buy the cd for them all for christmas. The other songs mentioned above are nice too though so I'll buy them as well.
Hatch Posted 16 October, 2010 Share Posted 16 October, 2010 Terrible , if it stops bands like One Direction getting to number 1, after all the years of work they have put in to get to where they are now, i will be disgusted. They are such terrific boys, and I can't wait to meet them. I follow all of them on twitter, facebook and matesgates
Verbal Posted 16 October, 2010 Share Posted 16 October, 2010 I've seen 4'33" live. As someone whose hearing was wrecked by too many Grand Funk Railroad concerts, it's hard to think how 4'33" could possibly be bettered. There's also a vinyl recording, but you do become a little conscious of the scratches, and it doesn't quite convey the ambience of the piece as it's performed (if that's the word) by a full orchestra and watched by a full house. LGTL Posted 16 October, 2010 Share Posted 16 October, 2010 (edited) This new "campaign" about stopping X Factor getting to number 1 is starting to become as annoying as the said programme. Edited 16 October, 2010 by LGTL
Spudders Posted 16 October, 2010 Share Posted 16 October, 2010 On a similar note I thought it was going to be that 'Surfin' Bird' song? Did you know that the bird is the word?
saint_bert Posted 16 October, 2010 Share Posted 16 October, 2010 Will they be doing a free concert for everyone that buys the single like RATM did?
