With the way the table is currently, where we are is pretty irrelevant, the points - yes please, the place - not too bothered right now. It's where we are at the end of the season that counts.

We'll be top by the time we beat Brighton.

I agree with this. I was worried about how the Lee Barnard incident would effect the lads, but they've been really professional and that is very encouraging. I get the feeling we are on a mission now and all concerned mean business.

we are in better form than we were this time last season.

we will not have the cup effect.

if we get the same points from the remaining 35 games as we did for the last 35 games last season, we will finish on 86 points - the same as Leeds had last season.

I doubt if there will be many other clubs in the League this season which will get more than 84 points

I have just done the predictor thing on the bbc website and if we win and other results go our way we could be in a play off spot this weekend

Martin Samuel won't like this...

Huddersfield are a very good side at this level so I wouldn't count your chickens just yet, if offered a point today I'd take it 3 would be a massive bonus I only hope this place isn't filled with doom come 5pm saturday if we haven't won.

I expect us to be top two by Christmas. As others say at the moment things are so tightly bunched that positions are still not that important, but if we keep working away we'll make that gradual creep towards the top. As long as we are in the top two come next May then i'll be happy.

Trouble is, if you can't beat the 6 best teams above you, you're not going to have much of a chance going up automatically. So we need a win this Saturday to start to stamp some authority on the league and get us within reach of the playoffs at least. A loss will see us sucked back down into the lower part of the table as the points are so tight at the moment and that in itself could adversely affect morale. There are pivotal moments throughout the season and I think the game this week is at least a minor one.

Huddersfield away is going to be a tough match - after the feel good factor of the last couple of games I expect the wrist slitters to be back out in force come five o'clock Saturday.

Spot on. You look at teams over the years. Remember Sunderland at SMS under Keane? We played them off the park but they got that win. Thats what its all about. I think NA will bring that to us and can see us winning 1-0 on Saturday.

If I stick a fiver on Hudds to win then Saints will draw or win.

nice one, but make it a tenner on them to win or draw and we'll be laughing.......

and what a f*cking great game it be to win and leapfrog hudds

we have to beat any team that is put before us, this is a big one but last year was it gillingham who beat all the top five teams at home and ended up relegated as they could not perform away and they had one of the top goalscorers in the team, some would say beter than our rickie.

stand em up, we'll knock 'em down. COYR
