No idea, but there was another nipper being looked after by a group of people around Cook Street/St Mary's Road junction, just before the subway to the East Street Centre...

Best wishes to both.

Christ. Hope everyone's ok. Not suprised someone has been hit round by the farmy... Lost count of the amount of times I have come close to both being hit by a motor and hitting someone myself. Too many people just walk out on the corners (myself included).

"The male walker was hit at the junction of Onslow Road in Bevois Valley by a VW Passat at about 5pm. He was taken by ambulance to Southampton General with injuries that were not thought to be life threatening."

Hope both are on the mend.

I saw this fella being attended to by medics and I thought he had broken his ankle/leg David Boost-like. I might be wrong though as I didn't stop to stare. All the best to him. Quick and speedy recovery. It's a tricky junction that for the hundreds of Saints fans that cross there.

Two guys were hit by cars in separate incidents, on by the old Farmy and the other on Chapel. Not sure about the underpass guy mentioned above.

Hope they're ok.

Yep, sorry, that's the fellah I saw....turns out he got a broken collar bone. Cycling away after the game and got hit by a motor. In the Echo tonight.

Note to self: Get to know town localities better....
