Player of the Season so far

Couple of months in, what do we think of them so far? Stand out candidates for me would be:

 

Barnard. Going purely from his on the pitch antics, he's been fantastic.

Seaborne. Looks a different player to last season. Far less hoof.

Lallana. When he has been fit, he has been the difference.

If I've got to choose one and one only, at the moment it's Lallana. Subject to change at short notice though....Chamberlain could make a late charge....

Based on playing both regularly and consistently over the last 2 months, I think you'll do well to find anyone better than Fonte.

All rather early at the moment, how many games has Adam played this season, and from what I've read on here Guly went from shyte to shyte hot in 2 games. Who knows, our player of the season may not be at the club yet.

Barnard easily.

All things considered, Fonté for me.

 

That will almost certainly change if we continue as we are.

Lallana, the month he was out we didn't score, enough said.

Lallana is without a doubt the most important player in this team. Lambert is great but doesn't have as big an impact as AL. Same as Fonte, same as Barnard, Harding etc.

 

Bit early for player of the season though.

Oxlade-Chamberlain for the matches so far, was our only bright light until recently

Fonte 's -performance on Saturday was exceptional, Lallana is vital to us - but due to injury (in Lallana's case,) and some whose form did drop when we were losing (Fonte) I think Barnard has been ploayer of the season.

 

I don't think for a moment he will be over the rest of the season

Barnard - Even in a brief cameo on Saturday, Tranmere couldn't get near him.

 

Fantastic movement and has an excellent first touch.

For a player coming to play in another club, in another league ..in another country ..where he doesn't speak the language..

I'd say that was a pretty speedy transition...wouldn't you ?
