Oh god.... And he's been bailed so could end up going down too! If he's still on our books then we could have two of our strikers behind bars :-S

He is now a team mate with Barnard he could end up being his cell mate!

My son is a mate of a senior Reading first team player, so I got him to ask about Bignall. The answer, 'he's good, really quick and strong, a bit raw at times but has got a great strike on his left foot, he can play wide but is better up the middle'. It sounds like a good signing but only short term.

Derry, I wonder how ottery st mary will manage to try and attack you for posting that ?

I saw Bignall a couple of times for Stockport last season and was quite impressed. Certainly had a good first touch and pace to burn but struggled in a poor team and lost confidence. Could be an interesting addition and adds a different option alongside Lambert and Barnard.

I'll hold judgement as I know nothing about the guy, at least the club are getting in some cover. I assume he's more of a bench option than a replacement for one of our strikers. I know Doble can't play this weekend but does anyone think he is going to make the step up to first team apperances? I would of thought giving our lack of options he might of made the bench at least by now.

That shirt's still not doing it for me (I was quite keen originally but all badged-up and with the 'sash' just stopping square at the shoulder it looks like a right dog's dinner ... incoming!)

Couldn't agree more. If it ain't got stripes it ain't the Saints.

Agree with that I also saw him a few times at County, looked good but had Hoof-ball for service & no support. He is very quick & seemed quite powerful. Could be just what he & Saints need at this time a little bit of confidence & I could see him becoming a really handful for the opposition at this level.
