Turkish Posted 7 October, 2010 Author Posted 7 October, 2010 why is he still here when we got rid of the likes of Moleyeux?

dubai_phil Posted 7 October, 2010 Posted 7 October, 2010 Nooooooooooooooooooo Who's gonna be the Tea Boy now?
Made in Southampton Posted 7 October, 2010 Posted 7 October, 2010 I thought this Pulis bloke was a made up person.
Draino76 Posted 7 October, 2010 Posted 7 October, 2010 Stockport, is where I was born and is my 2nd team. So the joy in one part of my has been tempered by horror in the other. It's a numb feeling.
SFC Forever Posted 7 October, 2010 Posted 7 October, 2010 Is it true that they can keep him if they get two plus games out of him?
Turkish Posted 7 October, 2010 Author Posted 7 October, 2010 Is it true that they can keep him if they get two plus games out of him? Outrageous terms from us, i think we should be more realistic and ask for two minutes.
Bourno Posted 7 October, 2010 Posted 7 October, 2010 At Sheffield he was out before the others undertaking a vigorous work out. When the rest of the team came onto the pitch he didn't join them.
DirkThunder Posted 7 October, 2010 Posted 7 October, 2010 I am going to Gillingham vs Stockport on Saturday - I will report if he really does exist.
eurosaint Posted 7 October, 2010 Posted 7 October, 2010 I am going to Gillingham vs Stockport on Saturday - I will report if he really does exist. Instantly recognisable, he's the one with the guide dog
Saint Fan CaM Posted 7 October, 2010 Posted 7 October, 2010 I am going to Gillingham vs Stockport on Saturday - I will report if he really does exist. I would like you to report on (a) the time it takes before he actually gets to touch the ball and (b) the number of times he touches the ball in each half. I wager the answers will be (a) 12 minutes and (b) less than 15 touches per half. That is assuming he gets on the pitch - if he gets to train with them and they see the range of his 'talents', he'll probably start on the bench.
saintbenny Posted 8 October, 2010 Posted 8 October, 2010 Thanks for clearing up who that was!! Me and the Mrs could not work out what the hell was going on and who the poor sod training on his own was!!!
cellone Posted 8 October, 2010 Posted 8 October, 2010 Good luck to him. Won't see a player of his calibre in a Saint's shirt for a long long time.
Saint in Paradise Posted 9 October, 2010 Posted 9 October, 2010 Some people might say "Thank Goodness" to that
Chin Strain Posted 9 October, 2010 Posted 9 October, 2010 How come Pulis is still 'in the game'? He's been a pro since 2003, and in 7 years he has made as total of 28 league appearances for 9 clubs, with no goals. Staggeringly he has still managed 4 Wales U21 caps. Pulis snr must have some unbelievable contacts, as this is the worst case of nepotism I've ever seen.
fareham saint phil Posted 9 October, 2010 Posted 9 October, 2010 I remember the good old days and the "I saw Perry Groves play for Saints" stickers, I feel the same coming on here, a rather fetching black T-shirt with his picture on it of course so we remember what the heck he looked like

I went to the game with an open mind on Pulis but he was slow and ponderous in possession and struggled to get in the game. He should have received a straight red card for a horrible hack from behind but was probably saved by the ref having been only on the pitch for a few minutes having replaced the previous ref who was injured. He did score with a good finish but I would have backed myself to score in that position! Hope he manages to make a career for himself at League 2 level and get to play more games than he has so far but this will not happen with Southampton.
