First time I've seen us formally listed in rich clubs chart. I guess it doesn't offer any reassurances about the Leibherr family's future intentions as I suspect the list compiler simply replaced 'markus liebherr' with 'liebherr family' at the last minute.

For instance, wasn't the £3bn they quote markus's wealth alone rather than the family as a whole?

This has been done I'm afraid.

Ah, though it might. Just saw it in today's London evening standard and assumed it was a fresh slant on things.

Never mind, it still a great thing to bring up against our bitter rivals AFC Bournemouth.

Unfortunately we pretty much do.

We are not a rich club. We have rich owners. Which is nice but if the money stays in their account it means f all.

And thereby lies the rub.

I suppose we could argue we are no longer in debt?

In itself, something to be hugely grateful for. But if NC is going to take this club to the Premiership and beyond it will take more than not being in debt to pull it off. I just hope the family have the desire to see Markus's plans through to fruition.

As do Man City, Arsenal, Chelsea, etc etc.

It's more acurately a list of football owners.

Markus was supposedly worth £3.3bn and this has been left to his immediate family, which means the new owners of our club are probably worth not much more, theyre nothing to financially do with the the four siblings of Markus and Liebherr Cranes etc.
