In the case of an online purchase, such as the tickets, the Distance Selling Regulations apply and you are entitled to return any item, regardless, with in 7 days for a refund.

So, LS could return the tickets, get a refund and then re-purchase tickets at the new rate.

Ah, cheers. I have to admit that the last time I studied consumer law academically was 1985 and they didn't have the interweb then :-)

The ticket office have been very helpful as always and I repurchased the tickets at the offer price, which in fact will mean that they will now attend all three games for the original price of one game.

so you have two season tickets to be able to get cheap tickets for two other people?

No. I've bought three on mine. The lovely aussie lady on the phone said pretty much all the calls they've had for 2 days has been people taking advantage of this offer.

Should lead to some decent crowds for these three games

  • 2 weeks later...

Picked up cheap tickets for a couple of friends for both Oldham and Dagenham.

£33 including booking fee, for four adults, that's ony £8.25 each.

I always like to see a big crowd rather than empty seats, so all you ST holders out there find a friend who wants a cheap ticket.

Sleepless in Sandwich. Grizzled veteran and SaintsMadSon (no ST mates) seek no-mates ST holder for possible 90 minutes of mutual pleasure. We're doing the Notts County and Daggers games and every little helps. PM me if you can fix me up with a couple of those 7.50 jobbies and your pleasure at a pre-match pie and a pint will be all mine.

Just phoned up to get a ticket for my mate for either side of my ST seat at the Dag & Rbridge game and was told there are none available in block 7 at all. Which would be fair enough but every game this season I have had at least 4 empty seats to the left and 3 to the right, Even when I have previously been told the whole of 7 is booked up. Surely these arent all season ticket holders seats who havent turned up for any games?!?! The lady was unable to confirm if they were ST seats as she couldnt even get into the block on the system because it was reported as sold out... Shonky system it would seem. This is row K just behind the dugout so could these be reserved for competitions, scouts etc as I recently won tickets in this area??

If I get to the game and am surrounded by empty seats then i wont be impressed as my mate will have missed out on cheap ticket unnecesarily... I know we could move somewhere else but we both want that area and I'm not convinced theyre not available......

Why not get your mate a ticket in an adjoining area (still only £7.50) and when no-one turns up on Saturday, he can come and sit with you?

I did mention this to him but he didnt want to risk having to sit on his own watching a team play that he doesnt support (He's a villa fan and I'm trying to convert him!!)

What kind of attendance are we expecting on Saturday?

I'm personally doubt it will be an above average attendance which would be a joke to be honest.

Why's that? We're playing an average team, we've had an average set of results and are in a below average place in the league table. An average attendance, which is still going to be top 2 if not top of the attendances for league one and above most championship and a few premiership gates, would be very good.
