Reason for lack of updates on SaintsWeb

Probably because the site owners have been too busy writing these almost daily ARTICLES FOR ANOTHER WEBSITE. I guess that place is more important as it is trying to establish an audience, whereas the audience for this place has already paid. I wonder if there is a plan to charge people to use that site once it gets a regular footfall? How long until they stop updating that one for a new venture?

and, for the record, shock f**king horror, steve writes articles for another website, why is this such a problem. Im sure when he feels enough energy to write about our terrible club at the moment he will, after all, he has been writing articles for this site for YEARS. cut him some slack!

Perhaps he can cut us some financial slack then? There was a lot of talk about regular updates in a fully-integrated site and that is the reason that I, and many others, renewed. Do you not feel that customers have any right to feel slightly aggrieved by that?

what utter rubbish the updates to the site can be seen weather you pay or not. Who the hell are you to say when the ppl who run the site post elsewhere .. get a grip of yourself

Apologies if my choice of words were wrong. Subscription pays for full access to the forum. Non-subscribers have limited access. Everyone, whether they subscribe or not, has the same level of access to other parts of the website

I can accept the lack of News Updates, but I don't really see any improvement in the quality of service on MatchDay Freds, whereby, especially towards the end of the game, the slightest bit of excitement will lead to the whole server going into meltdown. Between this happening and the often crap/lack of prematch/Halftime/post match coverage on Saints Player my whole Match Day experiences are getting worse by the week.

 

Maybe we should have a sweepstake as to when the server will crash today and the nearest gets their fiver refunded?

I think he has done a good job of that site. With all the people moaning about paying for and using this site why dont you use the freehostia and install a php message board or wordpress and do your own site.

FFS, Steve Grant can do whatever the hell he likes. If you want news, there's plenty of other sources for it. And if paying a fiver is that much of an issue, then post on other forums which don't charge.
