Macey_J2 Posted 1 October, 2010 Share Posted 1 October, 2010 Cant trust those dirty skates with anything! The 53ft high sculpture has been on Southsea Common since august, and was due to be taken on tour to other cities before returning back to reside permanently down the road. Unfortunately it has been vandalised numerous times in the two months its been in Southsea and was finally destroyed early this morning! Macey_J2 Posted 1 October, 2010 Author Share Posted 1 October, 2010 Or maybe "2.30 am on a Thursday night, unemployed skate chavs loitering in their local park?" I hope we find out soon.
Huffton Posted 1 October, 2010 Share Posted 1 October, 2010 I fecking hate students. I had one ask if she could get out my car in the middle of west quay road to save the 20p it might cost her to drive into leisure world. ***ts
anothersaintinsouthsea Posted 1 October, 2010 Share Posted 1 October, 2010 2.30 am on a Thursday night, students just back at Uni. It is right opposite a big halls of residence so no coincidence that there were a few students hanging around.
Chez Posted 1 October, 2010 Share Posted 1 October, 2010 It is right opposite a big halls of residence so no coincidence that there were a few students hanging around. actually its about a third of a mile from the halls of residence, which is small and mostly for foreign students, who in my experience are the most well behaved. Lots of student live around that area though.
brightspark Posted 2 October, 2010 Share Posted 2 October, 2010 There's nothing wrong with that dinosaur sculpture. Its in better condition than their rotten cheating disaster of a club anyway. Hate them.

Lots of student live around that area though. Correct. And it isn't on some route between boozers that might have been used by students returning to their halls of residents either. If I had to guess whether it was the act of students or some local chavs with a lower IQ, my money would be on the local yobs, the same ones who break all of the newly planted trees on the Common. 1976_Child Posted 3 October, 2010 Share Posted 3 October, 2010 Nice sculpture. well, was a nice sculpture. Pity that this planet is inhabited by worthless pr icks who have so little beauty in their lives that they have to destroy beautiful things. They should be found and given the birch, in public. bpsaint Posted 3 October, 2010 Share Posted 3 October, 2010 Would love to jump on the 'them pesky skates at it again' bandwagon but let's be honest, it would have happened in Southampton too most likely. The world is full of ****s, not just Pompey, although they have a greater number than most.
