There was a really nasty and fast acting stomach bug doing the rounds at SMS yesterday, it started with the B'mouth team & fans being complete sh*ts and ended with me waking up here after a hasty snack in the BA lounge last night being completely sh*tting as well. I am sure you must have caught it as well. Big well done to the "Only Two Molinari's" - Eduardo winning one hole all on his own and Francesco nailing that approach on 18 (or vice versa). Will have to head out early to get some shopping in and then the sofa is well and truly reserved for the afternoon. Ross Fisher - really nice guy and what a solid player - is he the new Monty for this generation - the European rock steady Eddie? And Miguel - was never going to miss those putts

The other classic as Furyk was on the tee having won $10mil last week - Jim - lend us a tenner.... I took the Jet Lagged to hell excuse and flopped on the sofa from about 9:30 your time. What a stunning day of high pressure high excitement Sport that was Miguel - hell that man is a GOD - there is hope for all us Wine drinking old farts after all. GMac - he looked the part all day and wow Hunter - how many of us have duffed a chip like that, we have "The Golf Channel" crew of Renton Laidlaw, Doogie Donnelly, Mark Warren and Julian Tutt (nice bloke) & Jay Haas on the course and to give them their due they were probably as horrified as Pavin when he fluffed that chip. The scenes at the end with the players getting mobbed - nah that would never happen with me in charge of the Marshalls! (Watch out for me at the Race to Dubai finale!) The GF missed the whole thing through work but came back to see the presentation ceremony - to say - WTF - I thought you were watching Golf all day not football! Poor old Pavin looked like he would burst into tears at any moment, those must have been the longest speeches those Yanks have ever had to sit through! Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuuke But Gmac - way to go Dude
keithd Posted 5 October, 2010 Posted 5 October, 2010 im sure i can feel a migraine coming on.... my migraine has cleared! only to be replaced by a heavy cold, i believe the word is karma! never mind, great days sport watched, nervy right down to the last pairing. at 11 o clock i was ready to switch on some porn and enjoy my afternoon solo but then the yanks started fighting back...fair play to them boys, never gave up.
