S-Clarke Posted 30 September, 2010 Posted 30 September, 2010 That will be a very interesting show, but he won't be able to say anything - of that i'm sure. I'm sure the presenters will be keen to get on to him about his departure here...but an NDA is an NDA...
trousers Posted 30 September, 2010 Posted 30 September, 2010 My money is on this thread becoming legally dubious by post #17
saint lard Posted 30 September, 2010 Posted 30 September, 2010 Any chance you could come back Alan? If only.
Appy Posted 30 September, 2010 Posted 30 September, 2010 Any chance you could come back Alan? If only. Any chance people could finally get over it and move on? If only.
Saint_Jonny Posted 30 September, 2010 Posted 30 September, 2010 I am definately going to watch this. Im sure he is aware of the support he had from us lot after the sacking, wouldnt hurt to remind him that there is no animosity from the fans at all.
trousers Posted 30 September, 2010 Posted 30 September, 2010 My money is on this thread becoming legally dubious by post #17 I take it back....post #6 it is then.... ;-)

saintjay77 Posted 30 September, 2010 Posted 30 September, 2010 I take it back....post #6 it is then.... ;-) It made me laugh and would crack me up if someone actually asked him on live tv.
Noodles34 Posted 30 September, 2010 Posted 30 September, 2010 Any chance people could finally get over it and move on? If only. so why are you on this thread then?
Joensuu Posted 30 September, 2010 Posted 30 September, 2010 Alan, what's the point of preseason? Alan, what's your take on the strange short/direct passing tactics which are often used by lesser managers? Alan, have you ever been subject to an NDA? What about an NDA preventing you from speaking about an NDA? If you answered 'yes' or 'no comment' to either question, when can we expect your autobiography to be released?
Matthew Le God Posted 30 September, 2010 Posted 30 September, 2010 My money is on this thread becoming legally dubious by post #17 Here goes... I reckon a 3 way love triangle between Ali Dia, Alan Pardew and Nicola Cortese got out of hand. EDIT: Damn Joesuu taking post 17!
Joensuu Posted 30 September, 2010 Posted 30 September, 2010 EDIT: Damn Joesuu taking post 17! And I wasn't even legally dubious... damn, must try harder...
Liquidshokk Posted 30 September, 2010 Posted 30 September, 2010 I'm quite looking forward to seeing ol' pardew. Have heard nothing of him since he got the boot. Wonder what/who he's been doing.
gonzo Posted 1 October, 2010 Posted 1 October, 2010 I'm quite looking forward to seeing ol' pardew. Have heard nothing of him since he got the boot. Wonder what/who he's been doing. I saw him in the Winchester branch of Eyesite about 3 weeks ago, so I reckon one thing he's done is have an eye test.
Saint in Paradise Posted 1 October, 2010 Posted 1 October, 2010 With all of the rumours about you and Mr Cortese not getting on very well was it a shock to be let go or did you expect it ?
MarkSFC Posted 1 October, 2010 Posted 1 October, 2010 If you could have pre-season all over again would you have signed: 1) another striker? 2) another centre-midfielder? 3) a speed merchant similar to papa or Antonio? and also; 4) would you have planned pre-season better in terms of fitness and real team preparation for the season as opposed to the shambles it was? 5) what do you think if Dean Wilkins? 6) where do you see you ruined career going from here?
doddisalegend Posted 1 October, 2010 Posted 1 October, 2010 Alan after winning saints their first trophy in 38 years, losing only elven games all season (in all competitions), having around 60% win ratio and finishing the seventh best manager in all leagues (according to the league managers assocation own stats), while rebuilding a team after adminstration and relegation with a -10 point penalty. how do you feel about some fickle saints fans who are happy to brand you a drunken, womaniser not fit to lead out a pub team, who had no plan B and only played long ball to Rickie Lambert, do you think a little bit of gratitude might be nice?
Burger Posted 1 October, 2010 Posted 1 October, 2010 Which club came in for Lambert in the Summer? Celtic
SFC Forever Posted 1 October, 2010 Posted 1 October, 2010 How long before you punch someone, and then spill the beans?

Just dont see why is career is ruined did very well last season only to be sacked by a peculiar italian who appears to upset a large number of people
Kaiser Soze Posted 1 October, 2010 Posted 1 October, 2010 How many of the players wifes were you nailing?
SFC Forever Posted 1 October, 2010 Posted 1 October, 2010 Apart fom the negativity Alan did a good job and will be offered another job soon enough.

Saint_Jonny Posted 1 October, 2010 Posted 1 October, 2010 Im off to the bookies to put 10 quid on pardew getting the leicester job. He'll go there and watch as he does a fantastic job, just as the last manager we never should have sacked did. Im not bitter or anything....

Lets B Avenue Posted 1 October, 2010 Posted 1 October, 2010 Mrs carroll ? And was she wearing a hi-viz jacket?
Deppo Posted 1 October, 2010 Posted 1 October, 2010 I'd like him to answer this: The absolute value of a real number is defined as its numerical value without regard for sign. So, for example, abs (2) = abs (−2) = 2. The maximum of two real numbers is defined as the numerically bigger of the two. For example, max (2, −3) = max (2, 2) = 2. Express: abs in terms of max max in terms of abs He must show his workings out in full.

Deppo Posted 1 October, 2010 Posted 1 October, 2010 It is quite interesting that the people who are still concerned with incidents in the past - such as the sacking of Pardew - are the ones with usernames that suggest a need for nostalgia. Is there something in this at all? Any amateur psychologists want to have a go at unpicking that at all? I'd be interested to see if there is a pattern with attitudes to change and a nostalgic disposition.

Why do you keep dragging this up - please, for the sake of all our sanities, let it go......let it go.

To quote (kind of) , Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel History is, indeed, little more than the register of the 'crimes, follies, and misfortunes' of football clubs. But what experience and history teach is this - that chairmen and football clubs have never learned anything from history, or acted on principles deduced from it.
