Like ME was made up to explain the behaviour of a load of lazy, miserable middle class layabouts. I know someone who claimed they had ME, too tired during the week to get a job and had to lay on the sofa reading magazines and watching TV but fine to go out socialising at the weekends. Unsurprisingly this lazy c*nt had rich parents who made sure their sick little poppetts credit card bills & loans were paid off every month to help him through his illness. I dont doubt that in a tiny minority of cases there might be a medical reason for this behaviour & ADHD but generally unruly little sh*tbags are unruly little sh*t bags because their parents let them be like it, this gives them an excuse to blame it on something else other than them.

I agree that ADHD is used by parents too easily for children they can't control. As mentioned this detracts from the real sufferers (if there are any but as it doesn't affect me and my family and I have other afflictions to concern me, I haven't gone into the ins and outs) more so than any other disorder. I suppose coming in second place is dyslexia where too many people claim to be so in order to cover their lack of knowledge, laziness etc. Again there are genuine "sufferers" but they sort of get over looked because people without it use it as an excuse too often. NB, the term ADHD only came into use in 1987, possibly explaining why it was unheard of when you were at school, depending of course upon when you were at school... There were of course still kids with behaviour we'd today term as being ADHD before 1987...

That is an interesting question and difficult to answer. Both are vile and the worst sort of crimes, both are forcing sex on someone who is unconsenting and if someone has these urges but surpresses them then in a way they are morally similar. However at any age you know that peadophillia is disgusting and wrong, so any person who has these desires should IMO automatically surpress them, simply because they know it is wrong. Whereas it is natural to be attracted to women. To abuse a child you have to go looking for it so it must be premeditated, whereas with a woman it could just happen, meet in a pub, get on back to theirs etc. Obviously both are vile but peodophillia is worse.

Those who are genuinely suffering are often lost in the mass of those who simply wish to pin a label onto the fact that they are, in the case of ADHD, poorly parented sh*ts or, in the case of dyslexia, simply have very poor literacy skills.

Paedophiles don't necessarily act upon their urges. Again, this is similar (but not quite) to your quick condemnation (rather crudely) of homosexuality. Would someone (again) choose to be homosexual? Do they like the lifestyle? Or is it, perhaps, as with when you see a woman (and they see some men/women depending upon their gender), and they feel 'sexual' attraction? No one would really choose either of these things, imo, they may possibly be conditioned in some way (but again, such tendencies have been ever present throughout history, just more closeted in some times/cultures than others), they just happen.
