Redondo Saint Posted 29 September, 2010 Posted 29 September, 2010 Depends upon your plans for the day after. If not going to work: Lager shandys, then progress to straight lager. Include salt and vinegar crisps or other fatty food. If going to work: coke/pepsi and crisps Anadin Extra works very well as it has aspirin, paracetamol and caffeine. (I always stock up on this from Sainsburys when over!) Everybody is different but the best cure is to get "back on the horse" asap.
SuperMikey Posted 29 September, 2010 Author Posted 29 September, 2010 Thanks guys, i've either been drunk or hungover this week, don't have the money to go drinking again so I guess it's greasy food then.
bridge too far Posted 29 September, 2010 Posted 29 September, 2010 Lots and lots of water. Because alcohol causes dehydration and your brain shrinks - hence the headaches. And a fry-up
Hatch Posted 29 September, 2010 Posted 29 September, 2010 Not drinking the night before helps. So says me, Not been drunk since July 24th.!!! And believe me, that is some record for me.
smithy Posted 29 September, 2010 Posted 29 September, 2010 I don't think there really is a cure, but drinking again does help me.
Saint-scooby Posted 30 September, 2010 Posted 30 September, 2010 Vomit lots then water then fatty food.. Try and make sure you vomit first.
benjii Posted 30 September, 2010 Posted 30 September, 2010 You can't cure a hangover other than with time. HTH.
Special K Posted 30 September, 2010 Posted 30 September, 2010 A good thing to take is Dioralyte (sp?) which replaces lost electrolytes in the stomach. It's for after you've had the the old Two Bob bits, but works really well after a sesh.
SuperMikey Posted 30 September, 2010 Author Posted 30 September, 2010 I am still hungover from Tuesday. FML.
