Either way, no skin off my chin. I do this sort of thing for a living and know a crap infrastructure when I see it.

Well, send Steve a Pm and offer him some advice. It could be a simple setting he's got wrong somewhere. After that give him grief if you think it's warranted...

Feck me how do our American listeners cope, 4 mins to load a web page.

86F here in New Orleans, humidity is down due to a cold front that is moving air in from Canada, although it is very hot in California apparently.

I think I am coping with 9 hours of jet lag - easy answer - drink another beer.

In case the game isn't interesting, I scored a Birdie in the golf tournament AND an Alligator - yep went over to look for my sliced ball and stepped down to the waters edge and there it was.

Will try and refresh, but the internet in the room is SO slow, we are still playing Rochdale down here. Oh the joys of conferences - Bourbon Street tonight, woo hoo and all that

Difference between this season and last:

Last season - if we were 1-1 with 5 mins to go I wouldn't be surprised if we nicked a winner

This season - if we are 1-1 with 5 mins to go I wouldn't be surprised if the opposition nicked a winner

That's the difference in a nutshell

No it's not - HTH

and? so? what's your point? this season he has been ****e. doesn't matter a rat's fart whether he was good the season before last...

... and straight into the wall....

My point is you are accusing the lad of being a one season wonder when he has proven he can score goals over a much longer period of time.

This season he has been ****e but then so has the rest of the team. Most strikers are all about confidence. The fact that the team is currently playing without any and creating very few chances is obviously rubbing off on Lambert. The same way Fernando Torres currently looks a shadow of his old self. Or Wayne Rooney. Once they register a few goals they'll be away and Lambert will be no different.

Whoever said that we are now an extra 3 points of automatic promotion was wrong - before the game we were 8 points behind Peterboro. Now we are 8 points behind Bournemouth.

However, before the game we were 9 points off the top spot, whereas now we are 11 points behind the leaders.

Fair enough. If Steve wants some help, I'm happy to advise. Btw, I don't for a minute think he and his team have legged it with our £5s. Where they have gone wrong is that they have created a very good offering, as evidenced by how popular this site is, but have really, really under priced it. I will start a separate thread on the main board to ask what people would be prepared to pay for an uninterrupted service on mach days. Hope people give their input, and Steve takes note and is prepared to reprice the product. The price must be high enough to secure a decent architecture and give Steve and his team an income - beer money probably, but unless they have a reward from their work they might not be totally focused, and yes, they are running a Ltd company - not a student website.

It is not the strikers fault we are just not making many chances and we seem vulnerable at the back too we seem to go into games with orient, yeovil and the like with no expectation of winning! We lack confidence and pace! NA has to put this right quick if this season is not to be wasted!
