Secret Site Agent Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Well, we threatened at end of half. Need to dominate more.
benjii Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Richardson will be better. That would be good. I'm trying to remember who our right back was during the play-off season so I can consider making the bold claim that Butterfield is the best RB we've had since we were in the Prem.
Liquidshokk Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 That was a quick half. when was the last goal in any first half of our games?
trousers Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 That was a quick half. when was the last goal in any first half of our games? Boxing Day

I rate him very highly and cant see how anyone can criticise anything he's done...
martyg1950 Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 That was a quick half. when was the last goal in any first half of our games? Very quick half thanx to Saints player, didn't kick in here untill 8pm :-(
SO16_Saint Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Boxing Day Was that the 26th December?
Liquidshokk Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Very quick half thanx to Saints player, didn't kick in here untill 8pm :-( You didnt miss much... probably didnt want to hear harding nearly give away a penalty did ya?
patred44 Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 that would be good. I'm trying to remember who our right back was during the play-off season so i can consider making the bold claim that butterfield is the best rb we've had since we were in the prem. Germaine Wright
1976_Child Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Was that the 26th December? no, 18th April.
Toadhall Saint Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Was that the 26th December? Now don't start that again! ;-)
suewhistle Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Was that the 26th December? You've got to be a local for that one!
itchen_dan Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 I rate him very highly and cant see how anyone can criticise anything he's done... I agree. He's been solid and made no fundamental errors. Only thing he lacks is pace but apart from that, fills a gap that majorly needed plugging
martyg1950 Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 You didnt miss much... probably didnt want to hear harding nearly give away a penalty did ya? No! I want to hear Saints goals dammit - lets see if NA can get em fired up (and longer studs) with his 1/2 time talk. Sounded like, they gave us loads of respect early on, then decided to giove it a go. With the quality we have I look forward to the day when we go out, the opposition up their game, discover it's still not enough, retreat heads down, and get a humbling lesson. COYS !! - you can do this !
Thorpe-le-Saint Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 That would be good. I'm trying to remember who our right back was during the play-off season so I can consider making the bold claim that Butterfield is the best RB we've had since we were in the Prem. Chris Makin.
Matthew Le God Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 I'm trying to remember who our right back was during the play-off season. Alexander Ostlund was right back for most of the later part of 2006/07. Chris Baird played occasionally at right back before moving to centre back in 2006/07 and Jermaine Wright also had games at right back.
trousers Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Sounded like, they gave us loads of respect early on, then decided to give it a go. Indeed. We'd almost be better off starting off crap (on purpose) and give away an early goal (on purpose) thus leading the opposition into a false sense of security before kicking into gear and wooping their bottoms.

ulstersaint Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Germaine Wright Germaine Greer would have done a better job at RB.
