“The English FA did approach us with a view to recreating the project for 2010. They sent us some tapes and everything,” reveals Dr Wellington.

“But what you have to realise is that for hoaxes to work, they need at least a small element of plausibility."

The 1966 flags still exist....

There have been no sightings of flags on the moon....

Once again, I had a really good look the other night through the old bins..

Rubbish?

All the regulars in my local had a look through my binns and not one of them could see the USA

flags on the moon......One thought he could see a Russian one.....but he had been heavy on the old cider..

I am at St Marys on Saturday..meet at the ticket office about 1.30..

Will bring the binns for you to have a quick look.

Til then it would seem the flags are still in the cupboard in the NASA Office.

By all means bring your own telescope and let me have a peep and determine if my binns are useless.

As of 2009 there are four different flags on the moon.

1) USA

2) Soviet Union (Russia)

3) European Union

4) India

They can't get planning permission - apparently it would be a nuisance to existing residents.

"We now have immensely powerful GCI techniques, green screens and animatronic facilities. But we’ve looked at your Emile Heskey – and we can’t do anything with that.”
