shurlock Posted 27 September, 2010 Share Posted 27 September, 2010 From the first line from an extract from Will Hutton's new book in the Grauniad/Observer http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2010/sep/26/them-and-us-will-hutton Interesting read. guess responsibility for this mess depends on where you fall on the political spectrum.... Mao Cap Posted 27 September, 2010 Share Posted 27 September, 2010 Top guy, is Hutton. Never read a column of his where he hasn't got it spot-on.
Shufty Zubrik Posted 28 September, 2010 Share Posted 28 September, 2010 Hutton predicted the credit crisis about 15 years ago in his book 'The State We're In'. Ignore him at your peril. The point about fairness is crucial. We all know that the introduction of the Premiership was about making a few people rich and had nothing to do with fairness. In August most football supporters believed their team had a chance - evidence QPR, Saints, Ipswich, Crystal Palace and others being able to push the so called greats to the limit and come within an ace of winning the First Division. Now outside of the big 4 nobody has a chance. Frankly if Murdoch takes his poisonous millions away and the whole rotten carcase collapses and we can have our national game back it would be rather appreciated!
