Saint Bowood Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 I reckon 0-0 Upside - 3rd clean sheet Downside - Still only1 goal in 600 mins of play On the terrace with my waterproof coat and hat - can't wait - masochist or what?
ottery st mary Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 2-0 Saints Lambert and Spiderman...For some stupid reason.... Come on you Saints.. WIFM
Viking Warrior Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 OKAY which pub is everybody meeting at tonight. I, leaving shortly doing a bit of a tourist travelling before the game
boxosponge Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Can we pay on the night? Don't know about pay at the gate, but I've just booked a ticket from St Mary's to pick up at Yeovil tonight
oldsarum Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Can we pay on the night? As i've already stated on this thread tickets will be available from Yeovil ticket office tonight you do not pay at turnstile
OldNick Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Don't know about pay at the gate, but I've just booked a ticket from St Mary's to pick up at Yeovil tonight ok thanks
jawillwill Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 My best mate at work is a yeovil boy and my 2000 bar wager says saints 2 nil he's gone for saints 2 one lol Eh?
The Cat Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Glad it's going to rain, I've just bought a huge brolly that will block at least 100 people's view in the terrace and I intend to use it even if it's only light drizzle.
whizz Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Yeovil 0-4 Saints Lambert 13,43 mins, Barnard 68 & 76 mins Mark my words...
Toadhall Saint Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Yeovil 0-4 Saints Lambert 13,43 mins, Barnard 68 & 76 mins Mark my words... Are you a Pakistani bowler?
Cabrone Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Being as this crazy club always goes and does the opposite to what I predict I'm going for 2-1 to Yeovil. COYS.
Yorkshire Saint Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 patience is the key ..... nil nil - 1 nil maybe - 2-0 Saints if we are lucky. As i say patience is now the key.
Saint-scooby Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 3 points to Saints no sure on the score...
St_Tel49 Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Would it be mental for Lallana to play the first 20 minutes then? Rather than last 20? Surprise the opposition, do the damage then let him rest. Probably unchanged though I imagine. I would have thought that he would do more damage as their defence tires.
The Cat Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Wish I could go to midweek games but without taking a day off it'll never happen. Take a day off then!
Professor Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Not many predictions on the line up. Is that because Adkins is likely to be more consistent in his selection than Pardew was? If he is, personally, thats something I welcome. I'm not expecting any unforced changes in the team tonight, unless Fonte is back from injury, in which case he would come in for Jaidi. Seaborne probably has the other CB slot from Martin at the moment.
Secret Site Agent Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 On the back of a win, Barnards done the business, Lambo was at leat on target, Yeovil a bit shakey. I'd say 3-0 to us.
Saint Bowood Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 ..........ever seen a Cat with a open brolly up its arse? - you may do tonight ;-)
thefunkygibbons Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 A win, probably just by a single goal
Saint_Jonny Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Think we'll get a sneaky win rather than a resounding win. 2-1 Saints.
ottery st mary Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Taken serious advice on weather forecast and lots of guesswork.... Prayers being said all afternoon... Now increase my prediction from 2-0 to 4-0 Saints.. Lambert, Barnard, Puncheon and Spiderman.. WIFM
whizz Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Are you a Pakistani bowler? Yeah my syndicate are looking at making £30m. But don't tell anybody ;-)
Bartosz Bialkowski Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 If we win tonight i'll buy a ticket for saturday, that ought be enough motivation for them
SaintJackoInHurworth Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Head says 2-0 to Saints, but I 'know' in my heart of hearts that it will be a resounding thumping: Yeovil 0 Saints. 7

Andyb1 Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 If we win tonight i'll buy a ticket for saturday, that ought be enough motivation for them Same, only becuase i just cant justify paying about £60 notes including travel to watch a team that has just lost to Yeovil
for_heaven's_Saint Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Any win will do, although I do think the days of beig outplayed but nicking a win are probably numbered as NA likes to outplay as well as beat teams. I think Morgan will score soon as he seems to be driving forward with the ball more under Adkins, like he did to set up the goal on Saturday. I might put my money where my mouth is on that too. I'm hoping for a comfortable 3-0 win, and I don't think that's too unrealistic.
Toadhall Saint Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Yeah my syndicate are looking at making £30m. But don't tell anybody ;-) Right I'm off to Betfair then!

Asaint4ever Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 1.0 saints 90th min goal barnard! with morgan sent off!
Window Cleaner Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 1.0 saints 90th min goal barnard! with morgan sent off! Déjà vu ?????????
SuperSAINT Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 C'mon lads - Let's continue this progress under Adkins. Really don't want saturday to be a false dawn.
itchen_dan Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 C'mon lads - Let's continue this progress under Adkins. Really don't want saturday to be a false dawn. I agree! I feel we have 90% turned the corner and a positive result tonight (and a clean sheet if possible) would mean IMO that we are well on our way to achieving our aim for this season. These are the sort of dodgy pitched, small terraced stadiums that we struggled at time and time again last year. Adkins has been used to these situations before with Scvnthorpe so hopefully he will be able to guide the players to victory unlike Pardew could do last year in the same circumstances. Saints to win 3-0 COYS!!
itchen_dan Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Saints unchanged, Fonte only on bench!
beatlesaint Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 4-0 Saints. Bloody hell thats confidence for you !
itchen_dan Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Davis, Butterfield, Jaidi, Seaborne, Harding, Chamberlain, Hammond, Schneiderlin, Puncheon, Lambert, Barnard. Subs: Bialkowski, Dickson, Fonte, Martin, Holmes, Lallana, Guly.
Saint Charlie Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Bench starting to look stronger. If there was a decent pacy striker on there would be near perfect!
Smirking_Saint Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 two centre halves on the bench and no strikers ?? Strange Is Connelly carrying a long(ish) term knock again ?? He never looked really up for it at the start of this season and i fear we have more or less seen the last of him. We need to make some signings in the transfer window or some astute loans. No backup strikers or midfielders is dire
Matthew Le God Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 two centre halves on the bench and no strikers ?? Strange Lallana, Puncheon, Chamberlain and Guly can all play as a second striker. Better to have experienced attacking midfielder subs on the bench than a youth team striker. No backup midfielders is dire Dickson, Guly, Holmes, Lallana are all midfielders on the bench.
madruss Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 I didn't think Jaidi could play 2 games in a week, hope yeovil don't have any pacy strikers
martyg1950 Posted 28 September, 2010 Posted 28 September, 2010 Looking up the table from 18th and 8 points away from the top, Yeovil a point and 2 places behind us, not to mention their -8 gd, we should dominate and win, diogy pitch or no. The goal is promotion, we have turned the corner, games like this have to be won. COME ON YOU SAINTS!!
