Saint_clark Posted 24 September, 2010 Share Posted 24 September, 2010 Actually agreed with most of what he said anyway. And what he says regarding 9/11 is correct - there IS a theory that the government orchestrated it. He never said whether he believed it or not. for_heaven's_Saint Posted 25 September, 2010 Share Posted 25 September, 2010 I don't believe that 9/11 was an 'inside job' but I do find conspiracy theories really interesting, and definitely think we shoul question whether all we are led to believe is true. aintforever Posted 25 September, 2010 Share Posted 25 September, 2010 Have a look at this...Alan Hart is a respected journalist There is possibly a chance that Mossad knew about the plans or even infiltrated the hijackers but ideas like the towers were brought down by controlled demolition are just nonsense. The conspiracy theories sound good but when you put them under the same scrutiny as the official explanation none of them hold up.
Big John Posted 25 September, 2010 Share Posted 25 September, 2010 regardless of who were behind it I simply cannot believe that the US could not have done more to halt the attacks. This is why the conspiracy theorists feel that they have some credence, not that i agree with them, but as the old saying goes 'give a dog a bone...' Verbal Posted 26 September, 2010 Author Share Posted 26 September, 2010 Have a look at this...Alan Hart is a respected journalist Hart is not, and never has been a 'BBC correspondent', as often claimed by those jumping on his bandwagon, although he did, in the late seventies, present the occasional Panorama, as a freelance. Respected? By whom? He certainly isn't your classical model of an independent-minded observer of events - for example, trying (and failing) to persuade the Shah of Iran to go into exile in the UK after the collapse of his regime in 1979. And if you actually listen to that video recording, even Hart says everything is 'speculation' - aside from the 'certainty' that the towers were brought down by a controlled ground explosion. This, he says, is based on a conversation with one senior engineer, a mate of his who saw the attacks on the tele. Utter tosh. He also makes a big play about Mossad, as if Israeli intelligence were all-seeing, all-powerful. They are not. Mossad was instrumental, for example, in creating Hamas as a bulwark against the PLO. It was a classic case, as one US intelligence officer put it, of the Israelis setting their own hair on fire and trying to put it out with a hammer.
