Hatch Posted 24 September, 2010 Posted 24 September, 2010 Can anyone recommend the best one, having one tonight and not having lived there for 20 odd years I am a bit out of touch with the local gastronomic scene.
Shufty Zubrik Posted 24 September, 2010 Posted 24 September, 2010 Sunrise is OK but mundane. Better to take away from Jalalabad - cooked in front of you and good guys.

Hatch Posted 24 September, 2010 Author Posted 24 September, 2010 What about your free pint? Not tonight, Thats in Windsor only, and only i think because the head waiter fancies me.

sambosa75 Posted 25 September, 2010 Posted 25 September, 2010 The phal from the Sunrise is palatable.
saintscottofthenortham Posted 26 September, 2010 Posted 26 September, 2010 Yeh I can vouch that Sunrise cook up a good curry. Lamb Madras is rather tasty but a bit too on the mild side for me. I usually opt for 'Touch of Spice' in Fair Oak though... Talking of which, I did so tonight. And it was splendid. Lamb Madras, Lemon Rice, Peshwari Naan and Onion Bhaji's. Yum Yum Yum.
